My trip here was great. The kids had a lovely time and I was able to relax and enjoy the scenery. I will be returning to the dundee bay villa soon. The place was vlean, and the employees were very attentive. Asked if we needed anything and was always available.

We have a two bedroom suite which was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 teens. 1.5 bathrooms plus a whirlpool were great. The 2nd floor balcony overlooking the pool was perfect for enjoying breakfast and family time.
The pool was sparkling clean with all the lounge furniture, grills and pool toys you could ask for. Beautiful Xanadu beach was a short walk across the road. This beach was the next best thing to a private beach. Very few tourists during the week. It was a gathering place for locals on the weekend.
We rented a car to see other attractions and explore the island. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The channel behind the hotel had many tropical fish that were fun to feed. There was a hammock and fire pit on the grounds with very pretty tropical landscaping. The kitchen was well equipped. Fishing and beach gear was available to checkout in the office. Grocery stores were 1 to 5 miles away.
The hotel is a bit outdated but the peaceful beauty more than made up for it. Can't wait to go back.

Freeport Bahamas is only about relax, swim/dive and resturants, nothing else.
I've been working on the docks here and i dont want to stay onboard while working here.
I really prefere to stay on a local place, like Dundee Bay Villas.
People here are so perfect:)
I strongly recommend this place if your'e going to be here in Freeport Bahamas.
It's like a own villa with a pool.
Okay, you have to do your own food but i personaly prefere that.
This way you wake up when you want and eat what yoy want when you want;)
The best beach in freeport bahamas is just about 3 minutes walk.
Beach at port lucaya is only for tourists and it's totaly crowded.
Here you got the whole beach for you self, except for weekends when the local people come to this beach.
To conclued everything: i strongly recommend the Dundee Bay Villas, you'll love it;)

Lovely peaceful environment, a very clean and well equipped villa, taxi's arranged whenever we required, and staff so friendly! We will definitely visit again (and will be better prepared for the slightly remote location with no amenities close-by.)

First time here. Service is excellent, villas are clean. It backs on to a canal with the pool overlooking it. On the other side or the villa, cross the road and a quick few minutes walk to the beach. Wifi and laundry was included. We rented a car ( recommended to get around and do your own tours ) and were out everyday checking out the island.
