The resort is only 4 years old so very modern with great facilities.
Pool is huge and plenty of loungers to lay around.
Buffet breakfast was ok, had the usual italian sweets, cereals, breads, bacon and eggs but no fresh fruit etc.
Staff were helpful and some friendly enough to come up and chat whilst lying poolside.
Your not allowed to swim in the pool without a cap so something to remember!
Large rooms, comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms

The hotel has many advantages and it could be a PERFECT place. The complex is really good, there is lots of space. Children can have lots of fun thanks to the counselors. There are Football, tennis, ping pong, swimming pool... The hotel is pretty ... But the organization of the hotel is really not good. There are many details that are very annoying and that any manager would find a solution to resolve those issues.
Good things :
- Room are always clean. The clean service comes everyday. Everything is great.
- The food has a good taste BUT ... I let you read my opinion about the restaurant above
- Nice complex
HOTEL IN GENERAL :
1 : The agency said that the wifi will be in every room... Its not true. There is wifi just in the lobby.
The wifi connection is definitely not HIGH SPEED.... Its VERY slow during peak hours (after dinner, mornings, after lunch...), sometimes it's even not possible to connect
2 : The first day I ask a question about the "Excursion board", I just asked if the planning is right, and if we can already subscribe. The personal told me that the board is not right, its the planning for the customers of the previous week. They said that they will update the planning the day after. The day after, I go to check the board, its exactly the same. I saw the director, and I asked him the same question, he told me that the planning is right. The personal don't know the real answers ?
3 : We did subscribe for an excursion to visit the city of Matera... The planning said that the departure will be a 4:30 pm. The day of the excursion, after the lunch, I go to check again the planning, and they crossed out the departure hour with a felt pen, and they wrote 3 p.m ...
They changed that exactly the same day... If we would never checked again that board, we could miss our excursion... It's really not normal. They have to inform their customer of that schedule change.
4 : The ALL INCLUSIVE it's not a REAL all inclusive. Many things that you have to pay.
5 : For a cup of water... They give a so small cup... Seriously... it's the summer. People are thirsty. Why they are so cheap?
RESTAURANT :
1 : The restaurant is not well organized... Sometimes they bring food and they ask to customers to not to touch it... It doesn't make sense... Customers has to wait that the food become cold ? Or to wait that children starve ?
2 : They don't organize well the personal... There are too many personal in each room to remove dirty plates when a customer just finished... Sometimes, there are BIIIIIIG lines for the food... It makes more sense to put more personal to serve the food! If a manager see that there is a BIG line, why they don't do anything for it ? It just needs to put one more person one each stand for serving the food. There was already TWO fights in the restaurant just to access to the food... How is it possible for a 4 star hotel really ???
3 : They put a BIG tray of pork products... and they put on the same tray some cheese, to eat with the pork products. TRUE STORY : They put just 5 peace of cheese... After two seconds, there are all gone... But one more time, for them it's normal. Why they just don't put enough cheese so everyone can have some?
3 : It's a 4 stars hotel, why do they give plastic spoons to customers ???
4 : When customers enter in the restaurant, ALL chairs are inclined on the direction of the table, that means everyone can accidentally stumble because of those chair legs... Any child, if they fall and the face goes directly on the leg of the chair, it can be very hurtful...
5 : Outside there are often lots of wind. We can see many napkins flying, tablecloth as well... When they see that... The manager never thought that maybe it can be a GREAT idea to buy some napkin clips ?? It makes sense right ??
6 : For the dessert, there are always just fruits... I saw just one time they did put some cake.
7 : Serving food outside, okay, why not... But make sure that the food stay HOT.

I have visited Ecoresort dei Siritti this July and has been so far the best vacation I have had. The service was remarkable, every staff member tried to outdo himself to help us. I travelled in couple (we're both 29 y old) but I have to say the resort is perfect both for couples as for families. It is true it is in the middle of the farm - but that, in my opinion is a huge plus as the food we were served (we took the full board option) was always fresh and savoury and 100% natural. Tomatoes directly out from the farm, not from supermarket crates, organic watermelons, peaches, fresh fish and seafood, delicious organic vegetables and a large variety of courses. As far of not being close to the beach that is specified on the each page of every booking site. However you have a bus going each hour from the hotel (for free of course) directly to the beach and it barely takes 10-15 minutes to get there. One day even we arrived 30 minutes earlier in front of the reception to wait for the bus and one of the staff members that was going to the beach offered to take us there as he saw us waiting. Remarkable. The private beach is really beautiful and well attended. Maria the girl that serves at the bar couldn't be more helpful with advice and directions. Also the animation team Big Up is a blast - 10-14 boys and girls providing good quality entertainment on the beach . You are invited to the daily activities of group dance, fitness, aquafitness, as well as you can take part in fun games. The resort also gives the opportunity - of taking the lunch as a take-away to have it on the beach or even better - you can chose to have it serve in the restaurant right next to the Private Beach - La Trappola, for no extra fee (should you have the half board and full board option reserved). Other pluses - great for Stargazing - you can see thousands of stars in the unspoilt region, nice room with a fairly big terrace, rooms always was cleaned every morning, towels were changed daily and smelled fresh. Should you travel with small children it is the ideal place - there are tens of activities designed for children - both on the beach as well as in the hotel premise - karaoke, disco, fun games for children etc. The only minus I could find was the fact that there was no Wi-fi in the rooms, only in the public spaces - on the hallways, restaurant, lounge etc. I really hope the resort fixes this problem until our next stay (which will probably be next year). I recommend it dearly to everybody wanting to have a quality time in nature, eating fresh organic food and enjoying the nice coast line of Basilicata region. We loved it and hope to return for our next vacation.

This is a Beautiful Hotel in a Beautiful place who offers a lot of different services but to begin with its in the middle of a farm, and neither the GPS, google maps or apple maps could find the place
We had to ask locals who never heard abou the place. One of the was kind enough to call and drove 10km in the middle of the fields ar night and brought us here or we would never find the place
The staff was really nice but air conditioning is controled by the front desk and the room was 26 degrees and we asked to set at 21
The water in the shower changes from normal to hot to cold suddenly
They have a bus every half an hour to the beach beginning 9:30 and returning beginning at 10:30am. But the check out is 10am. So if you want a shower before leaving the Hotel you pay for another day or you go home all salty

Great hotel . fantastic hotel with a personal who was so familiar and kind . Great food and wine! No problems to get to the beach if you sp desiree, Good shoping in the small town, and pretty cheap prices.
