What People are saying

We stayed here for one night, and I booked the king room. I expected it to be bigger and nicer, but it was basically the same size room with a giant bed. Not exactly the most comfy situation, but considering the price, it's not unexpected. The bathroom was a bit dingy, but other than that, it was a place to sleep and that's all we really needed.

However, SKIP THE RESTAURANT DOWNSTAIRS. Don't be fooled by the "delivery to your room" deal! You'll get much better food at much better prices at the McDonald's down the street.

We ordered the Regular Breakfast and the Ronnie's Breakfast with two coffees and it was disgusting. Incredibly small portions, bland and gross food, at a high price ($26 total, not including tip).

Eggs were overcooked and bland. Salt and pepper couldn't save them. My sausage was good, but my boyfriend's bacon was tough and obviously microwaved. The "hash browns" are just Breakfast potatoes with literally no seasoning or flavor. Toast was so tough you have to shove the whole square in your mouth and chew it like gum in order to get it down. Coffee was watery, and we should have just stuck to the complimentary hotel coffee. Really regretting this breakfast decision and the money spent. Hopefully their other food is better, but I'm not sure.

We spent 2 nights here as a home base for driving around the area. They advertised a continental breakfast but there wasn't any. The beds were good for sleeping. The part that was disturbing was the rats in the parking lot at dusk and the one in the garbage can by the entry door to get into the lobby. We didn't see any type rodent traps or poison so not sure if they are even trying to control these. We won't stay here again.

Horrible experience, Don't even bother staying here.

I have my first-born baby with me on this trip and also my in-laws first trip to Canada, we were doing a tour of beautiful BC is. This hotel is an embarrassment to all hotels that ever existed. No wonder hotels are losing to AirBnB fast because of bad service like this. This hotel should be shut down. To start, after a 13 hour drive from Alberta, we drove into the drive way, there was a drunk guy at the front porch and no staff would even bother getting the guy off the property, very creepy experience. We were not greeted, the staff are rude and obnoxious to your requests and even went as far as talking back and telling me to say "ok, ok, i got it!" I was just reporting to the front desk staff how my room, "suite" was not cleaned very well and she gave me attitude. There were french-fries underneath the beds, god knows how long those rotten food have been there under that bed. Dust bunnies on the pillows, yellow saliva markings on the pillows, eeeewwww, totally GROSSed out! Couldn't check in to other hotels as most hotels are fully booked for the weekend so we called relatives if they have spare rooms on their homes at all. That was how bad that hotel was, I normally wouldn't pull that kind of favors but this was just bad, terrible experience. I get it that the hotel owner is probably cost cutting and this showed by the very old fridge, stove and kitchen lay out but come on, there were unwashed utensils in the cabinets, dirty kitchen. The owner should just do other businesses instead of running a hotel business, maybe in the camp mines up north this would do but not for tourist spots like Greater Vancouver area, this is a disgrace. We had to buy Lysol wipes and clean it ourselves because there's no house keeping on site, the front desk kept saying tomorrow they will come to clean. and the house keeping staff barely understands any english. I would have booked $500 a night just to get out of that embarassing situation i put my family into and should have just stayed at a higher class more expensive hotel. Good thing we were able to contact some relatives and they took as in immediately for the rest of our stay in Vancouver. We just checked out of this junk hole as soon as we can. The price a night was not worth the hassle it gave me and my family, it wasn't worth the experience, a horrible experience overall. It should be illegal to operate this kind of hotel in Canada, this hotel should be shut down entirely. The staff should just get jobs else where and not customer service type jobs as they are very rude and not hospitable at all.

Conveniently located, and "Econo" sort of...

I was traveling for business and had an urgent need for a reasonably priced hotel as I was absorbing all up front travel costs. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, however the positive comments end there. I had several rather heavy bags and this location does not offer an elevator (The person behind the desk did offer to help with the bags) There seems to be a great deal of clutter about, and no plans to remedy this seemed to be underway. I was there for only 4 days before I opted for an alternative. During this time, the associated restaurant was only open once, or at best twice. I did not patronize the restaurant as the appearance was not so enticing, and I observed a rather large rodent who appeared to have reservations as he wandered right in. Finally, the price is lower than many other choices, but only just a bit. Read the other reviews and make your best choice.

Okay...

It was a place to stay. Not much more to say - I was lucky to get a discount because otherwise I might have been upset with how costly it is in comparison to other places I stayed throughout my trip for similar prices. It was central enough to get where I needed to go. But wasn't a place I was looking forward to relaxing at the end of the day. Bathroom was outdated. Staff was friendly enough.
