I had a reservation for Oct. 7-9, 2016 and due to Hurricane Matthew I called on Oct.6, 2016 around 9:30 am and cancelled that weekend . On the same call I rescheduled to come on Oct. 14-16 , 2016 which was the next weekend. When I received my credit card I was billed $140.79 for Oct.7, 2016. I called and asked the clerk and also spoke to manager and was told I was charged for a no show. I explained my conversation with the clerk but was told because I had no confirmation number for cancellation I was considered a no show.I assumed when the clerk sent me a confirmation for the new reservation it also included my cancellation. Still amazes me they will not acknowledge that I cancelled in the same phone call I feel I should not have been charged for the clerk's mistake.Currently have Better Business Burea investigating. I will not stay there again. Motel is old and not kept very well.

Of the room and bathroom.
The bathroom had an object on the mirror that Seemed out of place and should be removed. Room was ok, but front desk customer service
Is lacking. Housekeeping manager was very rude and disrespectful.

Recently, I stayed at this location and I was amazed at the friendly, and quick service I received. This was a special weekend and the manager and employees at this hotel made our stay beyond what we expected. They had the best attitudes and personalities. Very informative of the sights to see and places to visit for out trip. It made our overall trip very enjoyable. We will be back for another visit. Thanks for the awesome service!!!!!!!

Room and amenities were good. Felt like the rate was a little high. The person who was checking in before me got a cheaper rate than I did simply because they didn't have a reservation. When I asked management if I could have the same rate I was told no. Other than that, it was a fine stay.

The person they sent to talk to us was anything but professional. She walked into our room with her arms crossed with a major attitude. Proceeded to talk to us like we were trash. Her name is Amanda, she said she was the manager, but come to find out she was nobody. They didn't like our complaint and told us we threatened her and gave us 15 minutes to leave. I've never threatened anyone in my life. We asked why the room wasn't cleaned by 2pm, she said they can clean them anytime before 5pm. She was about the rudest person I've ever met, she should not be dealing with customers.
