What People are saying

Disgusting hotel!! We ended up checking out!!

Wanda C on 30/07/2017 10:17

We picked this hotel on the Choice Hotels website. We needed a place close to the Army base. I'm not too picky about hotels as long as they have what I need. We were going to spend the weekend here with our son and you girls. When we arrived the pool was green and nasty and people were swimming the pool. It doesn't take long for me to figure out something is wrong. We went to our room and I used the restroom and there was a drip coming from the ceiling. Didn't think to much about it until the next morning when my husband went to the restroom and came out soaked. Someone had turned the water on upstairs and water began to pour to our bathroom. We went to the front desk and told them we were checking out due to the conditions of the property and the pool being unusable. We were told the pool guy was coming that day and they knew there was a problem. There were no signs put out. I didn't care to catch an amoeba or anything else that was in there. There was trash everywhere from the live in tenants who really didn't care. It was no place for children. There were no towels in the room and we just wanted out! We ran as fast as we could and didn't look back. My son left some of his gear there and the front desk staff was so rude about it. They didn't seem to want to help. It was a bother that we had to go back and interrupt them. I am a Platinum Member with Choice Hotels and I will never ever darken the doors of this property again!!!

Never again..please read!

I do not know where to start! Just do not let their pictures fool you...they are rude and the place is nasty. Breakfast is very limited to a few muffins, stale cereal, and toast ( juice, coffee). The pool looks green and only a few rooms renovated. I have a lot of pictures of the two rooms we rented for one night! My story starts with the fact we were traveling to see my dad and we have 7 people in our family. We reserved 2 rooms side by side and had already paid before we got there. We arrived at 8pm and were given two rooms on the bottom floor. Knowing the hotel is on the cheeper side we tried not to judge the first appearance to much. We went to check out our rooms and were given another families room. We walked in on people in the beds. We were embarrassed and upset. I could not understand or hear the Indian man through the bullet proof glass. The little lobby area is also where the breakfast is. He gives us two different rooms and says one is an upgrade ( A suite with a couch bed) It was not an upgrade it was gross. More than half the hotel are permanent residents with lots of screaming kids up late until 1am. ( playing and climbing/ touching on your cars) I asked for non smoking..both rooms are smoking and smell so bad. Smoke detectors broke and hanging.Rooms dirty and toilets used before we got there ( someone did not flush?) Chairs old and dirty...pillows are so used and flat you are better off using your own bags. I did not sleep at all due to the kids, 2 trains near by, broken air conditioner that worked off and on, smell, and fear of sketchy people up all night walking around. Furniture, bathroom, sheets, yellow phone, and bedding were all dirty. ( bedding had holes in blankets) so back to when we first got there...I did not go the front again after we received two smoking rooms because we carried our stuff to the second floor already and just wanted to go to bed after a long drive. We thought we can just try to get through the night because again we already paid and at this point it could take 10-14 days to get our money back. I should of slept in my truck...we didn't get into the pool; in fear of growing an 11th toe. The next morning I told the lady at the desk about our bad experience and she defended the place. She pretty much said their breakfast is fine and supposed to be lite. She said I should of called in the middle of the night to report the kids. She gave no reason why the rooms were dirty. ( The residents there knew we were the only ones who did not live there). I am not that brave! We left so mad and disgusted. I forgot to mention the hallways smell like mildew and pee. Beer bottles/trash all over the stairwells, holes in the walls, and broken door chain ..please do not stay here!!!!

Checked in....checked out

As tired as I was I was horrified. What a dump. Thought it was a chain and be somewhat decent for a short night stay. If I would of put my head on those pillows I would of woke up with fleas. Absolutely disgusting!!!

The Worst

Janelle S on 26/09/2016 05:40

Our expectations were simply that the hotel would be clean. That there would be few amenities, but that there would be a standard breakfast.

What we got: a blood-stained bedspread and two tiny pillows, grungy carpet, dirty walls, moldy shower curtain, and a dirty microwave.

Breakfast menu: Raisin Bran, Fruit Loops, whole milk, juice, bagels, coffee. No fruit, yogurt or waffles.

The dining area was filthy. The baseboards, trim and doors look like they have never, in years, been cleaned.

I was so appalled by this hotel I called Customer Care. A woman with an Indian accent answered. She didn't seem too concerned.

Probably one of the worst hotel experiences of my 57 years.

Disgusting

If I could give it a rating of 0 I would. Walked into the first room (246) and there was black mold covering the bathroom wall. Got a second room (140) and the ac didn't work, there was black mold in the bathroom again, on the outer wall, room smelled musty, it was just awful. When I spoke to the front desk attendants I was told I could not get a refund even though I left and had no intentions on staying the night.

This place is out of date, dirty, and the front desk eooylyelot were rude and not helpful.
