What People are saying
Woke up with bug bites
chieramusicon 07/08/2017 17:39Perhaps my most horrible stay anywhere ever. The room was non-smoking and our blanket had multiple cigarette burns in it. You can hear people in the hall, in the rooms next door, and walking above you. I was on the second floor (non-smoking). I asked for the third floor (thinking it would be quieter), and they said the third floor was the smoking floor. There was trash (paper and paper cups) on the stairs. The bathroom was filthy - black, curly hairs on the floor when we arrived. I wiped the bathroom counter off with a wash cloth and it was yellow (nicotine? other?). The mirror was covered in fingerprints. I woke up with bites on my right hand, right wrist, and right knee (room 217). Don't stay here!
You get what you pay for
Curt Son 23/07/2017 03:23We were desperate for a room late at night and got hooked up with this place by calling Choice Hotels. I reserved probably the last room in the area, and was a little nervous when I was told the rate was $56 per night.
I showed up about 2am and the front desk attendant was locked in his office behind bulletproof glass, another sign that maybe this isn't the hotel for us. The lobby itself and breakfast area was immaculate, I noticed that it smelled very fresh and clean in this area of the building.
We got our key and took our luggage inside another door, and we're immediately smacked in the face with musty odors, and considerable cigarette smoke odor as well. Our room was stifling hot and musty, and had a little window air conditioner unit that we cranked on full blast right away. The sheets in the beds were stained, and am guessing they weren't changed from the last occupants.
Smoke detector on the ceiling was obviously tampered with, makes you feel real safe when going to bed.
We got a couple hours of sleep, and we're happy to get out of that joint. This is a 1-2 star hotel, and you pay a 1-2 star price for it. We will not be going back.
Illegal - smoke alarm wrapped in plastic
Greg Don 09/06/2017 05:09I am typing this from a very smelly room, the bathroom smells like urine, and the smoke detector is wrapped in plastic. The free breakfast was minimal, at best, and when Mr. Patel came out to check, he ignored our complaints. Who do I call in Ohio government to shut this place down? Just found web site for Ohio Fire Marshall picture of taped over fire detector.
WOAH
parkscindy2on 04/11/2016 18:15Outside door would not close--smelled like a dumpster--smoking section should be on top floor, stink rise's--floor very weak--smoke alarm hanging from ceiling--electrical outlet's exposed--furniture falling apart and dusty. Maid service sucks, beds filthy--burn holes in blanket and sheet's--switch board out of date--phone service BAD. Had to unstop sink drain myself. staff could care less if you were there. Had to mop bathroom floor to keep it from pulling my sock's off This is in room 204
Not Great
Bob_H03on 19/09/2016 16:31If you are on a really tight budget and don't care what your room is like I might recommend this place. The room didn't seem very clean. Cigarette burn holes in all of the blankets even though I stayed in a non smoking room. The noise at night is what bothered me the most. Constant loud talking in the halls and slamming doors. Once again I will say that this place is very very cheap so I honestly believe you get what you pay for. You can't get a luxury stay for these prices.
