Good economy spot to stop
lisajoywon 11/10/2017 20:23Friendly desk service as we arrived at 7:30 pm. Received good, local food recommendations. Room was clean with comfortable king bed, good cable TV, working heater, hot water, shower pressure. Basic continental breakfast.
I would if I had to DO IT HERE AGAIN!
cliffsileron 07/09/2017 04:23A quiet basic place to stop and rest. I slept well. The hotel isn't much but it is a place to rest and I parked my 60 foot Pickup/Trailer combo in the parking lot. The hotel is just off the freeway. I would stop in again if I needed a place to rest while keeping good time.
Swimming pool in our room
Colin Son 17/07/2017 04:40This was the only hotel we could find in the area. Room #133 was clean but there was a slight musty smell. We had the air conditioner on overnight and it flooded the floor of our room. Our shoes and some of our clothes were soaked. Find another hotel!
Misleading picture on internet but very clean hotel just not quaint
Karol60on 11/07/2017 19:24I was on the internet looking for a decent place to land for the night when I spotted a very quaint red wood motel surrounded by trees, I called and booked a room for the night. I was totally surprised to find a large brick building as the econo lodge. I showed the picture to the very pleasant manager who was also surprised with the picture but he explained to me how the internet can slide in any picture if you are not on the direct hotel web site. The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious with comfortable beds. It was a good nights rest even though the picture was deceiving. The free breakfast had a small variety of food but nothing that was of interest to my palate.
Better off spending your money elsewhere
Jimmy Ron 06/06/2017 20:57Short review is that there are a lot of other options in town/highway, and you are probably better off staying in one of those rather than here.
Cons:
Fridge was advertise, fridge did not work
Breakfast was advertised, there was basically nothing, I think a bagel/muffin or two.
Coffee machine took forever to fill, even then, it was basically coffee flavored water.
Neutral Comments:
Rooms are what you'd expect from a motel, definitely not as nice as the posted pictures
The location was sort of by itself on a different exit as everything else in town, depends on what floats your boat, but I kind of felt isolated.
I believe the front desk closes at 11pm at which point you can no longer check in.
