Charged $90 for the reservation and their local Web site listed the room for $42. The room was clean but very worn and shabby . The room waste not worth 42 dollars much less the 90 dollars thats their central reservation service charged us.

Do not recommend this hotel

angiemmcguireon 12/08/2017 02:56

We stayed at this Econo Lodge just so we could get some rest on our drive cross-country. Unfortunately, we got very little rest. We arrived late, and had to go to a window to check in. The employee at the window was in his pajamas to greet us (and was in the same attire when we left in the morning).
The hallways and the room of the hotel reeked of cigarette smoke, and were stifling hot and humid. The room was incredible hot and humid as well, and it was apparent the hotel turns off the air conditioning completely when the room isn't in use--which is never a good idea in hot and humid climate.
The room itself was not clean. There were someone's leftovers in our fridge, the carpets felt extremely grimy (almost greasy), and I'm pretty sure they broke some codes regarding how the electrical was managed in the room. The sheets were incredibly scratchy, and pillows were very flat. We barely slept that night, just out of discomfort.
The "breakfast" in the morning consisted of cereal, and prepackaged muffins.
We are fairly low-maintenance people with low expectations, but if you want to get a good night's rest, I highly recommend you seek accommodations elsewhere.

Great motel

There is always plenty of room to park my truck. The rooms are always clean and quiet. The motel owners and the staff are friendly and helpful. I will always stay here when I'm near Junction City Kansas.

Excellent customer service

To whom it may concern I live in Colorado Springs, CO and work at Fort Riley, KS.
I stayed at the Econo Lodge in Junction City starting in January of this year. From the first visit it felt like home as I am away from home 2-3 weeks out of the month. This Hotel is very quiet, clean and safe!! The family is wonderful and take care of there quests like they are part of their family. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Comfy Beds, Friendly Service

DebbieKansason 21/05/2017 07:31

We stayed at this Econo Lodge in Junction City and found it nice. The rooms were not the most beautifully decorated but they were clean, and that is more important to me. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The owners were gracious and helpful. The breakfast was pretty simple - Frosted Flakes and Fruit Loops, milk, orange juice, coffee, apples, and pastries. It would've been nice to have another fruit offered, possibly bananas, and some protein for breakfast like hardboiled eggs. But, overall, for the money it was a very restful night, with friendly hosts and something to put in your tummy in the morning. We would stay at this hotel again.
