It's a budget hotel and that's what I expected. It is outdated, but I'm sure prices would go up with a remodel.

Everything worked, extra blankets available, clean, smelled clean and staff was very friendly.

As was mentioned in another review, there is a train. However, we never heard it through the night. I did hear it after getting up in the morning. Overall, was a quiet stay.

Not much of a breakfast, but again, a budget hotel isn't going to offer a big breakfast. Dining area is small. Was clean and everything kept stocked.

If back in the area, we would stay there again.

Decent for the price

As has been previously stated, the place needs remodeling. Everything was in good repair, it's just the dated and well-worn furnishings, tile, and fixtures that have been caulked, re-caulked, and had the life scrubbed out of them. (notable exception of a nice new flat screen TV)

That said, my room (215 - king non-smoking) was clean and comfortable. Everything, including the cozy bedding, looked and smelled clean and fresh. All the plumbing worked well and the shower drained properly (slow drains are a pet peeve).

As a budget motel, I thought it was a good value for the price and every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. You could do worse.

Oh, yes, there is a train.

Even a place meant for value can do better.

Pubes on sheets and in the bathroom. Shower did not drain. Mirror in room smeared with grease. Smells musty and wet. I would expect this from some place that's cheaper but we spent $90 for a night here.

Only reason I'm giving it an extra star is because at least the AC worked, and they had a breakfast that wasn't horrible. Waffles, bagels, juice. But for the good of your bowels, skip on the biscuits and gravy.

Stayed for 1 Night, Old, Smelled of Cigarettes

Stayed here on way home to get some sleep. Upon entering the room it smelled like cigarettes especially in the bathroom although there is a no smoking sign on the door.
Furniture was old, semi-clean. Sheet had a water stain on it so I slept on other sheet. Didn't sleep well as I didn't feel comfortable. Also, trains pass by if you are in the back. Did offer breakfast in the morning and the lobby was cleaner than the rooms. Definitely needs updating and cleaning! Was in a town so there were places to eat and shop if needed.

we stayed here for one night while passing through the area. our choices were limited, but thankfully it was just one night.

Pros: the employees were nice.
breakfast was fine the next morning

cons: the hotel has seen some better days.
a lot of wear and tear in the rooms with excessively scuffed up furniture.
bathroom is dated (and someone drew a penis on the wall in there, you'd think someone would want to wipe that away).
the room had an odor like someone who previously occupied it was smoking in the room.
wifi did not work
cable on the tv was very spotty as well, pixelated pictures on many channels
