What People are saying

Not good

Sheran Won 05/05/2017 23:29

The girl at the desk was nice and pleasant however that was the extent of the good comments. Hall smelled bad, room was dirty, bed was saggy, towels old and the t.v. was ancient. Our window was broken (not the glass) but the frame, I could not get it open or lock it and we were on the ground floor. Our view was the fenced in garbage dumpster right outside the window. I was a little nervous to eat breakfast there, just had a coffee and piece of toast.

The worst hotel I've ever been to

The place is just disgusting. If I had an option to leave 0 stars, I would. Dirty is an understatement. There were 3 of us staying at the hotel, including my young daughter and an elderly mother. There was one dirty towel in the room. I had to fight to get more towels. Eventually, the guy threw another dirty towel in my face. I ended up using paper towels that I had in my car. There was no linens on the bed. When I asked for linens, the guy brought 1 dirty stained sheet. We had 2 beds!!!! The blankets were burned through with holes in them and no sheets to cover them. I am surprised the place is still in business. We ran the next morning, didn't even bother checking out their free breakfast.

Disgusting !!!

First off, motel is now an EconoLodge, but still same chain. When I arrived, I was told that the hotel was pet friendly for DOGS only, evidenced by the dog draped over at various times, all over every piece of furniture. I had a cat with me. I wasn't told this until after I had paid cash for the entre stay. When I asked for my money back so I could find somewhere else to stay, all of a sudden the cat was OK "for this time".
Due to mobility issues, I cannot navigate stairs, and ask for a first-floor or handicap accessible room. I was told that my room was on the second floor, with no elevator. I was also told that the motel had NO ADA compliant rooms. After (again) asking for y money back, A first-floor room suddenly became available.
The room was filthy. Carpet was stained, and smelled old and musty. There were no towels in the room. The ice bucket had only the inner liner, and the lid had dried food on it, as if someone used it for a plate or to cook something in the microwave.
When I asked for towels for the room, I was told that there were towels in the room. Ten I was told that someone had to check the room to make sure I wasn't lying. When the staff came and confirmed that the room had no towels, I FINALLY got towels for the room.
During my stay, there was no housekeeping. Someone had come into the room, and turned off the air conditioning unit. The bed was not even freshened.
I cannot comment on the breakfast, as it was packed up by 9:00 AM
There is no way I would stay there again.

Worst Hotel EVER

Came in late with two small children, the man couldn't get his computer working. There was a dog laying on the couch in the lobby. Finally, after 20 min. I just paid cash...$72. The 1st room the heat didn't work, the cowling on the heater was broken. The 2nd room the carpet was dirty, the lock on the door (chain) was broken...I hope the sheet were clean but I wouldn't have bet on it. The guy acted like I was a major inconvenience even though I didn't say anything. If I didn't have my grand kids with me I would have left. The carpet throughout was dirty. The breakfast in the morning was terrible. QUALITY INN? seriously, this can't be allowed to be a chain hotel. I should get my money back!

Nice little gem

I found this to be a very accommodating hotel. All of the desk people where attentive to me needs be it a simple good morning, good afternoon or good evening. Room was a gem for the price and very comfortable. It still holds the environment from years ago when this complex was considered elite. True, it can use some modernization but all in all, I would not hesitate to stay here again should I need to be in the area. Hats off to AJ and the efforts he is making.
The only negative would be some upgraded TV's.
