Great laid back hotel

What I love about this hotel is that is not your stereotypical box with rooms. It has a lot of charm and character. The worst thing is the housekeeping, rooms are rather dirty and we didn't get a change of towels while we were there. But the great breakfast, the other guests (pretty much everybody was chilled and friendly), and all the green spaces make up for it. I would definitely stay there again!
Good Stay

My first Hotel that I've ever stayed at alone. Just needed a place to stay while I was in town fishing. This place was perfect. Nice clean room. I didn't see any problems at all with it.Felt pretty pampered/spoiled actually. Not sure why there are so many Gordon Ramseys/Pansies on here. Anyhoo I enjoyed it and will be back for sure. Thanks for the great stay!
Ok but needs lots of work

This is one of the oldest hotels in Fulton, if not the oldest. It used to be a Best Western a long, long time ago. The grounds are absolutely horrible and needs a lot of work. Plants are wilted in some areas and lots of areas don't even have grass. It has a courtyard with picnic tables. It has a BBQ pit; it has a pool. It has washers/dryers. The pricing is reasonable for the area. We paid $117 for a king bedroom (AAA pricing). The rooms are spacious with a sofa, a chair, fridge, micro, iron with ironing board, and coffee maker; but even though they've been painted, the carpet was ripped at a couple of spots. You do get free wi-fi and breakfast is served from 6-9. You get a voucher and you get to pick 3 choices of the 5 or 6 they offer. It is cooked to order so your breakfast is hot and yummy. This was a plus and the breakfast area was packed. On a Sunday around 8:30 it took us 45 minutes to get our breakfast.
A "becoming" hotel

This hotel gets pluses for a home-cooked breakfast of eggs, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, bacon, ham, and toast. You select 3 of these items to be served on your plate. The servings are ample and delicious. Coffee, milk, and orange and apple juices are available self service. This was a cut above the usual Econo Lodge fare.
This older hotel is "becoming". The landscaping, exterior, and the rooms are all becoming. The landscaping that has been updated looks nice. When it is finished, the exterior will look a lot better. Most of the exterior has been repainted. The carpeting in the room has been upgraded. Housekeeping just needs to vacuum to the corners. The tub area has been updated, but in our room they didn't clear the black mold out around the tub before installing the new surround. This could "become" a great hotel with just a little more effort.
We were traveling with another couple whose air conditioner wasn't functioning properly. Maintenance was responsive and got it fixed, so they enjoyed a cool room.
The king bed was comfy. The sheets, towels, and washrags were newish. The wifi worked great in our room.
There's an outdoor pool and a BBQ pit available to guests. When we were there, families were enjoying both of these amenities.
Good for the price

Good: The room was clean and well kept. Front desk was courteous and professional. The free breakfast was made just for you. Bad: pool was hot and green. The dog in the next door barked all day and most of the night. Long wait for breakfast and not enough tables for everyone.
