Stayed one night due to our normal hotel we use in the area was full. Price was cheap and wasn't expecting much. The rooms was nice and clean and recently remolded. Staff was friendy at the front desk. Breakfast in the morning wasn't much just some cereal and toast. Bed was a little lumpy. But we would stay again. No real complaints with this hotel.

Well, we had hopes that it would be clean- at least! Not terrible but hairs on the bed linens, hairs in the shower/tub. One tissue in the box. There was a coffee maker but no coffee! All the furniture was grimy and hadn't been cleaned or wiped down in a long time. Lots of dust behind the nightstand between the two beds. Linens didn't smell fresh at all. The dust on the air return was thick. The fridge made a constant noise but we had ear plugs. The A/C did work well but noisy. Then in the morning, we had thought that the breakfast was ending at 9:30 but no, 9 am. And I got there at 9:04 am. The clerk said it was all put up, but would give me a bagel and I could get coffee. But it was too much of a fuss and I declined the coffee when I saw that the only creamer was powdered! Not happy about this place and it wasn't the cheapest with $16 bucks in taxes!

we have been going down to Charlotte Motor Speedway for about 8 years now and having found this hotel a few years ago, it was perfect back then. this past trip over this past weekend, we had the worst experience ever here!! we asked for our normal room that we always try to get just with the ease of my wheelchair - that was fine, no problem. we walked into the "non-smoking" room and it smelled like someone smoked 5 packs of cigarettes in there. when we turned on the vent, it smelled worst. the bathroom smelled like sewer and cigarettes. now, i have asthma and yes, my mom does smoke but she goes outside all the time and she even noticed how bad it was in the room. the lady at the front desk when my mom went to checkout and she mentioned it to her all she said was "well you smoke don't you??!" and my mom said "that's not the point when my daughter is the one that has trouble with it." we felt disrespected and felt like as returning patrons to this hotel that it was very rude and ignorant to treat guests that travel 7 hours from home like that. the hotel looks remodeled compared to years past but it seems like clients are ruining it for the hotel and the hotel doesn't care. we asked for fresh towels and the laundry lady couldn't understand english even with the simple fact of asking for towels. furthermore, this hotel has lost our business and we will not be returning for years to come in the future!! great location but horrible experience!!

The motel was reasonably priced, quiet and clean. Night staff was less than welcoming but morning staff was a delight. We expected that our room - facing the front and right next to the lobby would be loud. Turned out we heard nothing from the parking lot or lobby.
Continental breakfast was good but very limited - bread products, 2 cereals but no yogurt or fruit options beyond orange juice.
Biggest complaint - with today's technology - is a lack of electrical outlets in the room. There was no outlet anywhere near the work desk to recharge electronics. Good thing that I pack a 12 foot extention cord with my toiletries.

Dirty room, obviously not cleaned. We found a glass crack pipe on the floor (behind chair), a small plastic bag with white residue and a black sunglasses case. There was also a bag over the smoke detector. I told the girl at the front desk & she said she would look into it. I highly doubt it by her reaction. There were cigarette holes in the bedspread and holes in the blanket.
