Very Tired
stilltugboaton 23/10/2017 04:29This place is right out of the’70s. It used be operated by one of the major chains. It seems like they did not want to spend they money to upgrade. They sold to someone who intended to but never got around to it. No I was not there to watch tv but I thought I was the last guy to get a flat screen. The room included breakfast but I never bothered with it next time for the price I will go somewhere else.
Clean and comfortable
Matthew Don 23/10/2017 03:17Had a great 1 night stay front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was convenient clean and tidy we had a queen room equipped with mini fridge. bed was comfortable air conditioner didn't work very well in our room but we were here In October so wasnt a big deal. Breakfast was minimal but good cereal toast and some store bought muffins and cookies. Price was very reasonable we definitely got our money's worth And will definitely visit this location again if we are looking to stay a night in Charlottetown.
very pleasant
Pegg501on 13/10/2017 22:07Pet friendly (my first priority), friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed, good location, clean, and breakfast included. No complaints and a lot more affordable than most of the hotels i seemed to see on my phone. As others have mentioned it did seem a bit warm -- but it was September and i'm not complaining -- just an observation. I admit i didn't even try the air conditioner. Lovely neighbourhood to walk around with the dog. Price charged was the same as what showed up through the on-line go-betweens. (Which is great, because i'm technologically challenged.)
Choose room with care
DadandCabon 25/09/2017 00:49We arrived late afternoon in September and the room temperature was almost unbearable. There was no opening window and the aircon unit needed to be on constantly to achieve satisfactory cooling as there was no other source of air flow. Other rooms had opening windows and air con but not the other attributes of our room so it’s pros and cons with this one.
The room itself was a good size, clean, with a reasonable TV (although take the cable TV claim with a large pinch of salt) , a fridge and a microwave. The bathroom was also a good size with excellent shower pressure.
Breakfast was included in our room rate and was standard cold buffet fare, yogurt, juice, cereals, toasts, pastries and fruit. Pretty much something for everyone and not
Friendly place to stay!
MexicoTraveller2005on 17/09/2017 17:09We spent two nights at the Queens Arms Inn. Very friendly, welcoming front desk staff (loved Chelsea and the morning front desk gentleman, formerly a resident of Ontario).
Front desk provided us with a map of downtown Charlottetown with directions on how to get there. Terrific free breakfast every morning with a cheery room to sit down and enjoy your meal. Ample parking.
This is an older hotel but they provided updated amenities in the room - updated bedding, towels and shower curtain, bright bathroom, hairdryer, mini-fridge, etc. Our only complaint was that the air conditioner did not seem to be working efficiently and it felt like there was heat coming from the baseboard heaters but we couldn't adjust them (control was broken). The air conditioner blew on our heads all night long due to the unit's location in the wall. We ended up opening the window to keep the room cool and got used to listening to nearby traffic.
The hotel is situated in a great location. Easy to find, close proximity to downtown, stores and restaurants (Boston Pizza, MacDonalds, Walmart, etc.).
We would stay here again but look for a room with a different design because of the air conditioner.
Thank you to the awesome staff at the Queens Arms Inn!
