If I could give this hotel a 6 I will!!!! Perfect little spot with all the amenities, clean, super well located, they gave me perfect instructions for a late check in, and the price is Excellent!! Well done guys!! Keep going with this service like this.

It was so easy to shop, socialize and hop on a tram from the City Square Hotel. Everything was very comfortable and I really appreciated the friendly service too. I would recommend if you want to be in the heart of Melbourne.

City Square Motel is basic but clean. It provides facilities to cook (microwave) and drink (coffee/tea). The only missing element was a safe. All staff are very helpful with great tips regarding places to go, eat and explore. The location is excellent. Value for money is super especially considering how expensive Melbourne has become.

The motel is in CBD, and extremely close to the Tourist Centre, which allows you to book your Day Tours and also acts as a drop-off point for bus.
Convenience stores, Sushi Hub, Lord of the Fries, Subway are just downstairs. Degreaves Street with its cafes is just a stone's throw away.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Showers have good pressure and hot water.
One drawback is you could hear commotion off the streets at times. I stayed on level 3.
Will return to stay if back.

While the motel itself isn't technically 5-stars, the experience was. The location is fantastic for those who need to travel a long distance, as it is only a few minutes walk from Flinders Street Station.
However, what really made the stay worthwhile was the staff. They were very helpful when we arrived early for check-in - ensuring that our room was available asap - and even more helpful after we checked out. We accidentally left an item that had sentimental value, but no real value. Twelve hours after leaving we called the hotel to explain the situation, and they actually went through the collected rubbish to find it. We're so very grateful towards the staff for doing so!
