We stayed here twice on our trip to the beach. Clean rooms,courteous Staff,great price!! The rooms have recently been remodeled and the outside is in the process of being remodeled. We stayed in room 103 near the front. It had a comfortable king size bed with a mini fridge and a microwave. The room was very clean and it was quiet both nights we stayed. The first night on the way to the beach and then again on our way back home 2 weeks later. It's the only Motel on this exit and is close to the gas stations markets and restaurants. Very convenient and priced Right for the traveler staying just 1 night. They also have a senior discount if you ask for it. 60 and older! We highly recommend this spot and will use it again. Gary was very helpful!!

I stayed there many times working on the road, if you want cheap, this is it. It is running down but my car was broken into. It is cheap for a reason if that is what you want. They don't enter your Choice points

Would give zero stars if I could. The dirtiest, worst smelling hotel room I have ever been in. Tried several rooms and they were all bad and full of flies, dirt, mold, and mildew. Asked for a refund within 30 minutes of check in and was refused. Front desk clerk was rude and unhelpful. Do NOT stay here if you want your room to be the least bit clean. We had to leave and stay elsewhere it was so bad. Complete waste of money!

So I am driving from Florida to Indiana. It is Sunday about 9 pm and starting to get tired. I see this exit pull off and walk in the front door. I tell the guy, who was very polite for such a late night, I need a room with two beds and a pullout couch for five. He says no problem. I say can I have ground floor, he says no problem. Total cost, $70. Breakfast in the morning, room was clean, water pressure awesome. I can't beat that for $70 buck and no reservation. I recommend. Yes it is not a four seasons or holiday in, but remember you get what you pay for.

Booked room at Econolodge at Choice website w/government discount. Had 4-year old grandson with me..to visit parent after recent hospital visit. Also took grandson to child abuse awareness and safety activities at Sportsman Lake. Grand son was looking forward to staying in the "tall house" his name for multistory motel/hotel. Econolodge appears to have been a Comfort Inn or Quality Inn previously. Check in was efficient. Price w/government discount was a bargain. Motel room was in reasonably good shape and it was evident that cosmetic and minor maintenance was in progress. Room clean and spacious with two beds. Internet was strong and cable/satellite TV choices were extensive. Thankfully able to find decent children's channels and cartoons to supplement the time grandson spent playing with his cars, trucks, etc., on the second bed. Water was hot and plentiful for showers.
The motel was located near a busy interstate (I65) and truckstop. Didn't notice any issues with noise from the interstate or truck stop.
Breakfast was adequate...biscuits with gravy, toast, cereals, muffins, juices, coffee, apples. Will stay again when in the area.
