Great place to stay. Friendly staff clean rooms and the right price. Small town with a big heart. Great people and plenty to see. Visiting with my camera club we found everything we needed shopping too. within walking distance and more . Several nice eating places and

We were on a Western Bus Tour several years ago and stopped overnight at this hotel. Sorry I am late adding it to Trip Advisor, but a Friend is going out West & asked me about Hotels. I realized I had neglected to post my reviews. When I reviewed my notes I saw that we were very satisfied with this Hotel. Our check in and other services were excellent, the staff was pleasant & accommodating. Our Room & Bathroom was clean & comfortable.
This hotel is also centrally located to many of the Tourist Attractions in the area. I have looked at your more recent pictures & they are as I remember. I am pleased to recommend this to my friend & hope his trip works out well.

We stayed here the last two nights right before they closed for the season. The room was clean. The breakfast was not really worth eating or fighting the small overcrowded room. There was only a handful of people eating. Just too crowded for me. Recommend breakfast somewhere else in town (Bakers Bakery & Cafe). I would stay here again.

This was our second time staying at this hotel and we were not disappointed. We came for the Buffalo Roundup and Crazy Horse Volksmarch and therefore spent several days in Custer. The staff at the hotel are all very helpful and friendly and the room we had was spotless. The only minor annoyance was the air conditioning/heater was mounted high on the wall and when on blew cold air on the beds. But, we were on the backside of the hotel (no street noise) so we just opened our window at night and were quite comfortable. Breakfast was good, standard hotel fare with plenty of options. Being located right downtown is a plus because it is then so easy to walk to any restaurants or shops one wants to visit. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Custer.

Arrived late after drive from Denver. Called hotel to ensure that they would still be open. Forgot the name of the Front Desk personnel. They assured us that our room was ready and waiting. The morning personnel gave us a discount for breakfast at the Bakers Bakery and Cafe, which was very good.
