Was exhausted from driving, 1:30 am, get one of the last rooms in town, standing blood in the microwave, lamps ripped, “body fluid” EVERYWHERE, chair, floor, and black bugs! Bring Clorox to shower yourself in.

The website is misleading. We went here to check in due to the low advertised price, but found the website had shifted our dates from 7/29 to 8/28! We tried several times, unsuccessfully, to correct this. The advertised price was not available for our dates, and was actually double what we had anticipated!
The registration clerk was very helpful, cancelling our registration (for the incorrect dates) and we went up the road to a different hotel.

I want to say thank you to the Econo lodge family and staff . You made me feel welcome and cared for . My room clean and fresh .The bed new the showers where hot and the breakfast was always filling and the coffee pot always on . The value that i received for the cost of my room far exceeded what i paid . The convenience of location to Supermarket,restaurants,fuel and parking cant be beat. Given the choice again no matter what the cost i will be stay here again . Thank you for making me feel at home

New beds...although they are hard as a rock,they are new! They could have bought medium firm or something other than rock hard! I always check mattresses before bringing my stuff in...I was so happy when I saw new,clean Beautyrest mattresses. But then I slept,or tried to sleep,on them...so hard. Floors looked clean until you got close to furniture. They must have not moved the furniture out when they cleaned the carpets. It was soiled with black around all the edges of the dresser/tv center and beds. The breakfast was mini,cheap muffins and danishes,juice and coffee. It was a diabetic nightmare for even non-diabetics! The hotel is right next to highway so you can hear traffic all night,mainly semis. The floors shake,1st or 2nd floor,the floors shake. My daughter asked if there was an earthquake! We were on 1st floor. I was charged a price $10 higher than the website told me,but didn't realize it until we had left.

Most people are tired when arriving at a motel, as we were. This is the reason lots of people accept this kind of place.
The pro's were a comfortable bed, good air conditioning and the water and shower worked well. The con's were no Wi-Fi, and believe me, no one attempted to fix it. No coffee in the room for the next morning. The cold water handle in the sink would fall off each time an attempt was made to use it. The community ice machine didn't work, nobody was checking on the breakfast bar, and there was very slim pickings to choose from. We saw two banana's, shared one and another guest quickly took the remaining one. After that at least 3 people arrived looking for some fruit, but of course the motel staff was no where to be found to replenish the breakfast bar for additional guests. The breakfast was designated from 6 to 9 a.m., but by 7:30 there was almost nothing to choose from.
We stayed in two other Econo Lodges, the one in Lubbock for one night, and the one in Fredericksburg for three nights. Shame on this one in Dumas, it disgraces the chain of Econo Lodges compared to these other two fine Econo Lodges.
