We stayed here on our trip home from Florida because there was nothing else available. The room was dirty with burn holes in bedspread. The only decent place was bathroom which was new and just hadn't been destroyed yet. I felt unsafe. Would have been better off sleeping in car.

I was in town for the basic training graduation. Front desk clerk was rude. The rooms need to be updated. The carpet was nasty. The smell of cigarette smoke and weed smoke was strong. Every thing in the room was outdated. I do not recommend to anyone. It was like being at the roach motel without the roaches. We left a day early. Can not take anymore of it.

Our stay was originally scheduled for three days we left early on an already paid for room, first of all they never refilled the coffee for the room cleaned or out the pot, or replaced the toiletries. We tried to go for the "continental breakfast" or nasty muffins and cereal. As we walked to the office we noticed the "gravel rocks" for the flower bed was broken up counter tops. I don't know what to say, but would have been better off camping.

We were hoping for an inexpensive place to stay while driving long distance for our family. We booked the EL with ease, but that is where the convenience ceased. Upon arrival (12:30am) we noticed several shady characters which looked suspiciously like they were involved in illegal activities (I.e., prostitution). After walking through the front doors we were overwhelmed with the smells of marijuana, cigarette butts, and stale sweat. We were desperate for some sleep at this point so we continued to our room which had obviously been cleaned with the lowest possible standards (I.e., beds made). The floor was damp in the bathroom, the walls were bubbling with mildew/mold, there was trash from the previous occupant on the sink, and that was just the bathroom! In the room there was a layer of filth on the lamp shades, cigarette holes in the linens, patches of mold/mildew near the window, and dilapidated furniture. Once we managed to fall asleep we were woken regularly by the train that apparently was feet from our window! Just take our word and find somewhere else to stay. Not worth even the $60 we paid. Rushed out of there in the morning in hopes to get away from the stench and deplorable conditions ASAP. Positives: desk worker was fine and the breakfast in the morning smelled good, although we weren't going to take a risk with the food.

The list is long. Dated mattress. Sink drain clogged. Cleaning maid left a half eaten twinkee on my night stand. Heater activates smoke alarm. Room locked one day even though paid for via Choice Rewards. The community around hotel is re-developing nicely and the owner of this franchise needs to look around and UPGRADE. Owner has an opportunity at hand to stay up with the neighborhood growth.
