While on a driving trip, my better half and I spent one night at this pet-friendly hotel. Our spacious, newly renovated room was clean and quiet, with a refrigerator, microwave, and what appeared to be brand-new bedding. Alas, there was no pool or hot tub, nor was there any kind of fitness center. Overall, however, we were pleased and we will likely stay again.

Panicking after dark when I was told turn right by the Visitor Center.Many to choose from but Econo Lodge fit the bill.Parking outside my room 2 doors hallway or outer to car.Newly renovated very colorful and comfortable,slept a full night very quiet although almost full.Good prices 2 nights less than $150.00 w/tax.Shower head high has strong water pressure,bed was comfy and the room has plenty of electronic plug ins.Just off Hgwy 2 and I-29 so you can't beat it.

If the mold in the shower AND on the shower curtain wasn't enough, the toilet had a "clean for your protection" strip on it that revealed a bowl full of someone's urine when opened. The bed had stained sheets. The pet smell was almost overwhelming enough to make one sick.
When I spoke to the manager about the situations, her reply was "ok".
Nothing offered to make it better. No apologies.
Nothing.
I will NEVER stay here again nor will I ever recommend it to ANYONE visiting the Grand Forks area.

We have stayed here several times. Almost walking distance t the track. It's always super clean, updated rooms, nice dark curtains, super cold AC, comfy beds.
Breakfast is ok- waffles, muffins, toast.

This was a great value for the money. I knew not to have high expectations paying $40/night for a hotel, but it was clean and updated and the bed/pillows were comfy and cozy. I liked that the room had both interior and exterior access. However, I didn't like that the only 3 rooms that were occupied the night I stayed were right next to each other. You can hear through the walls and, of course, the doors opening and closing and with everyone parked in the same general area, the cars coming and going as well. The only other issue that I had was that the water didn't get very warm/hot for the shower and the room was very dark despite the number of lamps. Oh well; I'm splitting hairs here. The breakfast consisted of yogurt, toast, waffles, and pastries; the kind of stuff you get at a gas station.
