This stop was really just a quick overnight stop. The room was cheap and clean. I was actually surprised that the room was so clean, as the outside of the hotel looks rather run-down. The room, while not the newest of anything, was clean and comfortable, and that's all that mattered. Would recommend for a quick overnight stop.

Our friends who are Military Vets. meet up at my place in Georgia. We're a small group heading to DC for Memorial Day on our bikes. We stopped at a place that wouldn't accept Discover or American Express cards. We left and came to this hotel. The young gentlemen was kind enough to answer all our questions and this establishment accepted all type of cards. The group received military discount and it was a good deal comparison to other hotel we stopped earlier. Rooms were very clean and had done some renovations. They seem to be doing other things as there were items and boxes laying outside. Love the canvas in the room, took a picture of it. The bathroom flooring and toilet new too. There were new chairs and new furniture in room. Just needs some touch up of paint on walls and doors. Price was great for the new rooms.

Hotel room was very clean. Price was very reasonable. Pet friendly and price for pet was only $12.00
No deposit required. Rate was very reasonable as well. Only thing is they should do a little painting on the bathroom door. Looks like they are remodeling though so maybe that will part of it. Brand new toilet and some sitting outside for other rooms. Good location and breakfast was very little choices. All in all it was a perfect stay for a overnight stop.

We stay here every time we come to Henderson. The room, hotel, and staff have always been above average and friendly. Good to see the bathroom got upgrade to new beautiful porcelain tiles. Looks much nicer and cleaner now. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I attempted to cancel a reservation at this hotel and get a refund of my money because relatives had advised me it was in an unsafe part of town for a 76 year old woman traveling alone. After writing a letter to this effect to the hotel manager and copying the Corporate Office, I received a response from the hotel manager telling me that he didn't have time for my nonsense and that I should stay at home if I didn't feel safe in his hotel. He explained to me that people get killed every day in public places and that you are not safe anywhere. He went into great detail about the dangers of driving, etc. Bottomline, he never addressed the issue of refunding my money. Instead, he gave me a lecture on not going anywhere because any place could be dangerous. I, of course, am aware of these problems but was only trying to mitigate my safety concerns by going to a different hotel. I did not disparage his hotel in any way. I never received a response from Corporate Hdgtrs. I would never stay in a hotel with management who were so inconsiderate of other's feelings. I consider this manager a little "crazy". These are my personal feelings.
