Overall this was a very clean hotel. Our room was very clean, the breakfast was pretty good: hot waffles, yogurt, cereal, pastries, etc. staff was nice, pool and hot tub were nice as well. My one complaint is that there was a lot of dog poop in the courtyard. I wouldn't normally attribute this to the hotel, however after picking up after my dog I noticed there was not a trash can anywhere nearby the courtyard. As a pet friendly hotel, you should really make it easier for folks to pick up after their pets. I had to walk all the way to the other side of the hotel outside in the rain to drop my poop bag in a trash can that was already overflowing anyways.

We stayed here to avoid the higher prices in Glenwood Springs. It's a nice clean hotel and in a safe area. Only complaint is there is no decaf coffee to be had, in the room or at breakfast! I asked the manager if he had any, he said he would check...that was the last I heard. At least there is McDonald's across the street so if you want decaf, you can go there. Pet-friendly, $20 per night.

My son and I stayed here this weekend and were very happy with the customer service. Despite not arriving until almost midnight, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. While the free continental breakfast was much as you would expect, I was impressed with how attentive the staff was in making sure everything remained stocked right up until the end of the serving hours.

My wife and I stay one night at the Econo Lodge while visiting Iron Mtn Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs. Check in was fast and easy, room clean. Room was on the second (no elevators) floor facing south which turned out to be very noisy because of the train tracks a stone throw away and the highway just past that. Only a couple of trains past by throught the night but when they did I thought that they were coming right through our room. I finally shut the window which was only open a couple of inches but had to turn on the AC which put out the usual noise that the AC does. If you get a room on the north side you will be facing a convenience store with bright lights. Evern though the mattress/pillows were confortable I still didn't get any sleep. Breakfast was very minimal with dry cerial, waffles, yogurt, dounts, OJ, and coffee. Ice machine is located only on the first floor down by the pool. Glenwood Springs is approximately eleven miles back to the east. We chose this hotel to save a couple of bucks but would not do it again if we were playing in Glenwood. Over all the hotel is good and would be good for someone just passing through for the night. MacDonalds is just across the street and has .59 cent icecream cones. There is also a City Market groceries store located within walking distance.

We stayed as a family for one night passing through to California. Rooms are basic, but clean. Service was good. Pool area is small and my kids found bunches of hair oin the pool, so they didn't swim very long. :( Breakfast is very limited. We ended up going to McDonald's across the street. If you're not looking for anything too fancy, just a nice, clean room, this is a good option.
