I chose this property because of the high rating from Expedia. I must have got the "bum" room because it was a complete disappointment!
First, my washcloths and hand towels were so stained until I wouldn't use them! I always carry a washcloth from home to keep in my bag. I had to use that! And these were not dirt stains if you get my meaning.
Secondly, I get bit by bed bugs. Word of advice do not accept Rm 228.
Thirdly, on ice machine at the property did not work.
Fourthly, no nightstand lights! Only recessed pot lights in the ceiling, so the room is either lit up like daylight or completely dark!
They have TripAdvisor and Hotels.com awards stickers on their lobby door. My room was no where near those accolades. Will not visit them again!

My husband & I stayed the night here on our way through to Texas. The front desk workers during check in/out were very nice. We didn't use the pool The room was clean, and nice size. The king size bed was on the soft & lumpy side, but the sheets were clean and the pillows were very fluffy. The breakfast was great! They had waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, assorted muffins, bagels, toast, & cereal. The coffee was very good & I'm picky about my coffee! I would definitely recommend this motel for the price & accommodations.

We have stayed at several Econolodges on this trip and everyone has been clean, easy to get to and very Economical. We decided on our Route 66 trip to drive beyond Joplin MO. Miami OK was about 16 miles down the road. You can't beat the price. It is not a fancy motel, but had all the basics and it was inexpensive.

Stayed here for quick family visit. When we got there I found what looked like a dead tick in the bed so we had to pull off all of the sheets to make sure there wasn't any more bugs in the bed. The pillowcase was stained with something red. Kind of looked like blood.
We were placed in the very back even though the motel looked like it was mostly empty. I was OK with that.
The breakfast was very lack luster. Thee sausage was rubbery and the eggs only seemed like enough for 1 family. And don't even get started on the coffee it was awful.
The ice machine was near the room but it made everything you would use the ice with taste awful as well. Like the ice even had a weird smell to it.
Also, thinking that since we were out all day when we get back to our room, the room had not been touched by housekeeping. Only the towels replaced. So we just assumed that is all of the housekeeping we were going to get, but not.
8pm that night we get a knock on our door, mind you we were prepping for bed. It was housekeeping. There were like maybe 5 rooms occupied, why in the world is housekeeping coming at 8 at night? I don't know.
I will never stay there again. Not a good experience at all.If I could rate it a 0 I would.

I was somewhat disappointed with this hotel. We had a total of three rooms, and were placed to the back of the hotel, even though there were only about three other rooms occupied. Bed was comfortable, In the bathroom, the commode was sort of leaning to the right due to the floor not being even. Bath products provided were of poor quality, and the air conditioner was laud. Would come on only after you sweated, and kicked the covers off. When we arrived for breakfast, The selection was poor. Scrambled eggs only had about a spoon full in the serving area. Attendant looked at it, but did not add anything to the bar. They only had waffles, muffins, toast, sauage, and gravey. We went to eat elsewhere. The juice, both apple and orange seemed to be watered down, and had little taste.
