We stayed at Ecotel Quinta Regia midway through a road-trip across the peninsula. It’s ideally located as a base for exploring Chichén Itzá and Ek’ Balam; the location is also good for strolling into central Valladolid. We appreciated the hotel’s laundry service, their helpful staff, and the secure parking. Whilst not the most characterful of hotels, it did everything we needed. Not a bad choice at all.

Very glad we found this place. Parking is always a problem at the Marquis - Ecotel Quinta was close enough to comfortably walk to the center or local restaurants, with massive gardens and secure parking. Rooms were great and grounds are like a manicured jungle. This is our go-to from now on.

I spent a night with my wife in this very nice hotel during the our tour through Yucatán.
It has a big car parking and a wonderful tropical garden around the main building.
Our room was clean and the staff friendly.
Moreover, the hotel has also a nice pool close to the restaurant area where the breakfast is served.
The hotel is located few hundreds meters to the main square of Valladolid.

Literally we say this almost every time, we should stay here one night. Well this time we did. It was for a brief visit and a quick overnight stay. What are behind gates and front doors astound me all the time. This hotel is very clean, nice and friendly staff, beautifully groomed gardens, a great event location, easy parking and very colonial which we love. The rooms were comfortable with all the necessities we needed. They have many amenities that we did not have time to enjoy however there is always next time. Morning breakfast was included, and it too hit the spot. Valladolid is a Magic Town and we love it, so it is fun to explore and see new places.

Stayed in Valladolid at the Ecotel Quinta Regia for one night while we visited Ek Balam and Chichen Itza. The hotel is in Spanish Colonial -style, with small individual blocks of rooms located around a central "hub" ( reception area, bar and restaurant), all set in well-maintained tropical gardens. Rooms are spacious and airy with all the usual trappings in the bathroom. and with air-con, fridge and coffee machine in the bedrooms. Curiously, the integral safe in the bedroom had no lock (!) but apparently, you can get this on payment of a small deposit from reception. Also, there was only one bottle of water provided in the room (which was a double), but as replacements only cost 18 pesos from the bar, I'm not complaining. Breakfast was good, with an ample selection to please most, ranging from scrambled egg and French toast, to cereal, fresh fruit, pastries and juice. A clean, safe touring hotel to stay near all the major sites. Top tip: Can get quite busy during Mayan religious festivals - we stayed just after the Spring Equinox, so the place was full to the brim with the indigenous Maya celebrating the descent of Kukulkan - this will affect both hotel service and noise levels.
