The staff from the Reception to Room service and all in between including the management were excellent and went out of their way to help. Nothing was too hard and was always completed with a smile and a warm greeting.

I booked a room at Edinburgh Motor Inn for one of our staff members working in the area. Their customer service was excellent, very helpful and responsive. Our staff member was very happy with his room here and said it was excellent.

Arrived at hotel trip advisor said one room left it looked as though there were only us and one other guest staying. Went to make cup of tea in the morning no milk in room none had been supplied. Breakfast was supposed ot be at 8.30am the room was never open at that time. Breakfast was supposed to included in our price. We were never supplied breakfast the whole time we stayed. Our room was not serviced in the time we stayed excuse was cleaner had not showed up for work. The property was being managed by a relief manager she just did not care. We wrote a complaint to the owners of the hotel got a letter back apoligising but they have never offered any compensation. We stayed there two nights.

Arrived after a music festival, wanting a proper bed for the night before heading back home. When we arrived, the receptionist/owner was on the phone for 5 minutes before acknowledging us. When we got the keys to our room, the bed was not very comfy and the decor was very bland. The pool looked like it hadn't been used in a very long time and the heater smelt like it hadn't been turned on in months. The TV remote did not work. We booked two rooms as a group. For the same price we got 2 completely different rooms (quality wise) and we were not placed next to each other. We did not end up staying the night.
