The hotel is located at the end of the street of Portofino, The surroundings are not very nice but once you enter the hotel everything changes, The front door is located 200 meters from all the nice shops and restaurants of Portofino. In my opinion is located in a much nicer location than the rest of the hotels. The service and attention of everybody is exceptional, the beds and linens are good but them could be better for the price of the room but remember that in Europe is hard to find nice beds, pillow and linens, not very common. The breakfast is very nice and complete, if you want something extra like eggs you can order it separate.
The service from the front desk is very good.
Recommendation to rent a boat to visit the Cinque Terre area, Very nice and from the reception you can organize everything.

Fantastic! The hotel is right in the center of Portofino, but in a litlle, quiet and cosy part of that. The receptionists Gaia and Franchesca were very friendly to us! Breakfast was very good. Luxurious hotel! Totally recomended!!

We stayed here for 2 nights largely because we had booked lunch at the Splendido and didn't want to drive afterwards! The hotel was perfectly situated, a short walk to the harbour and restaurants. We were upgraded and our room was very well appointed with a huge luxurious bathroom. Our car was safely parked at the front (a must if you are driving to Portofino which has no space for cars), and the breakfast was perfectly adequate. We received a welcome coffee on arrival ad the staff were very helpful. The only negative point was that the jacuzzi was so hot as to be unbearable without sustaining burns and the second day when they had re done it, it was freezing. Don't leave without walking out to the lighthouse, the cafe is AMAZING at dusk with the views. The Splendido was also fabulous for lunch.

Everything you would want from a small luxury hotel. Welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable staff who made us feel important and valued without being intrusive. High quality attention to detail. Highy recommended.

Only communal space was a breakfast room with no view and the lobby. There was a garden but small and jacuzzi which was very hot and didn't work properly.
Strange assortment of toiletries- shampoo and conditioner but no shower gel or body lotion.
NO welcome drink offered although this seemed to be promised in the brochure.
Good location near to the harbour.
Very poor communication with me prior to our arrival- with no emails being answered about trips being planned so we had to do it on arrival. Although they managed to send me a bill for the mini bar before I had reached the airport.
