El Ducado has a very comfortable courtyard with interesting artifacts. Large room with antique furniture but fairly basic. Had to get help with patio door that would not function properly, the little stove and room heating. Location was convenient. Small lobby and secured gate to get in and out.

Location is good but not excelent (Area miraflores but a bit hidden and no bar restaurants or shops 300ft around) furniture old and basic, cold (no heater/ a/c). On the other hand the building is elegant in appearance and staff is friendly and helpful 24h. Breakfast slow and simple (scrambled eggs fruit and bread w/ butter and jelly

Mid-range hotel.
Rooms (I had a single) a little basic but clean.
Staff very frienly.
Buffet breakfast OK
Good atmosphere
Would recommand for its situation in Miraflores, its cleanliness and its global value

We stayed in this hotel on the first and last night of our vacation trip in Peru. On arrival there was a very friendly driver who took us to the hotel. The hotel is very good located in Miraflores. Just a 3 minute walk to Larcomar and the view of the Pacific Ocean.
The rooms were good, with a hot shower with good pressure.
We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast buffet. We read on Tripadvisor that the breakfast was very basic, but they surely improved, because we had fresh fruit, fresh juice, coffee,hotdogs, cake, and even some cookies. Even some olives !
We both can recommend Hotel El Ducado. It was by far the best of the hotels we stayed in during our holiday in Peru.

Good hotel, well situated close to the beach with Larcomar shopping centre and Av José Larco leading to Miraflores center. 10 minutes walk to Miraflores center with many restaurants and shops. Quiet neighbourhood with private security. Friendly people, good service.
