Stayed at the DoubleTree while on a business trip to Lima for 5 days. The first room they gave me did not have heat, the shower didn't work well (and water was tepid), smelled like mold and had a moth. It also had a window-enclosed seating area, that wasn't properly insulated. Wind would blow through, yet you couldn't open the windows to air out the moldy smell.
I pointed this out to the front desk next morning and they switched me to a suite in the renovated part of the building. What a difference! The renovated room was beautiful, with a great bathroom and perfect heating.
Breakfast buffet at the main restaurant and La Terrazza was great. I tried La Terrazza for lunch and dinner as well and it was delicious. Welcome drink (pisco sour) was great!
Overall, hotel and restaurant staff were very polite and attentive. Thank you to Ingrid and Georgiana from the front desk for their patient help.
This hotel is a great option if you book a renovated room. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere.

Super Hotel, Hilton quality, good location, central for business, away from the bustle of the city, well located to buy souvenirs. A very good breakfast, a superior attention. A delicious pisco sour, exquisite appetizers. Very comfortable room, first level cleaning. Highly recommended

Upon arrival we were greeted with a very nice room upgrade. The suite was wonderful. It was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The location of the hotel was good too. It was very close to shops and restaurants. We were able to walk to everything. For being on the eight floor, we really didn't have a view of anything though. However the room was so nice it really didn't matter. All of the employees were very friendly and welcoming.

Warm reception serving welcoming warm chocolate chip cookies, lovely single room with amenities. Fabulous breakfast. Comfy, attractive, modern waiting areas in the lobby. Well situated off of a major street with proximity to restaurants, dept. stores, malls shopping, etc. Great restaurant, LaTerraza on the premises.

This hotel is located in the heart of Miraflores where you can find excellent restaurants (many of them among the best of the word). All of them you can walk, the zone is safe and there are a lot of security. The hotel is modern in the reception area and restaurants. People in the desk always are willing to help you as well as the doorbells. The food in the restaurant is good but is better if you take the option of other restaurants. The room was ok, too small and little bit old if I compare with other hiltons that I ve stayed before. They have taxi service that you can charge to your room, also you can call them before you arrive to the airport and they give you where they will be waiting for you. I recommend this hotel if you are going to go Lima. My only disappoint was the size of the room.
