I travelled with my wife, mom, and dad and booked 1 luxury resort and 1 rock house. I would like to talk of the pros and cons of the property :-
Pros :-
1) Excellent location..secluded, green, river flowing through with a continuous gushing sound. Very peaceful.
2) Food is too good. Both the breakfast spread as well as the dinner which was a mix of good veg and non veg food. Tasty, simple, non oily and homely food.
3) The plantation tour post breakfast conducted by the cook ( I think his name is Mutthu ). The tour is much better than the so called spice plantation tours where you pay for the entry.
CONS :-
1) Approach road of about 100-150 mtrs is pathetic and the poor driver ended up getting a big scratch on his Innova car.
2 Leech ( blood suckers ) was the biggest turn off. There were so many of them. The moment we settled in my dad got bit and a lot of blood was sucked. The waiter quickly responded and gave us a packet of salt. Post dinner I got bit and lost lot of blood. In the morning during plantation tour we got bit again..me, my dad, my wife...mom was lucky....
3) Beds are too small to sleep 2 people comfortably

Excellent location amongst cardamom plantations. Stayed in rock house situated before water fall. Very nice dinner and breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean.WiFi only at reception. Best for nature lovers to enjoy the sounds of birds and nature.

Amazing place, staff and hospitality. Stay at the tree house was a wonderful experience. Staff were very supportive and always had a smiling face, looking forward to stay again. All the best Josin... keep it up.

With a brook flowing and creating a constant babble, and a dense vegetation always surrounding you, Ela Ecoland is truly situated at the heart of nature. The Rock house was perfect for a couple. If you can, try to book the tree house. They have only one, so early planning is required. Food was amazing, and was made and served by the staff with care and a smile. The staff are very friendly and are exremely helpful. We needed a transport to our next destination, and the staff took care of it. Be ready to loose mobile network as only celone works but the place is so relaxing that one doesn't miss the outside world. Reception has wifi for quick updates. All in all would definitely recommend and would stay again on visiting Munnar.

Excellent location well maintained restaurant clean rooms... Would highly recommend for those who love nature. Awesome host, would be ready to help at all times. Just stay in the resort and explore the plantation for one complete day with out going anywhere out.
