A small family run establishment within easy walking distance of the local harbour with its restaurants, supermarket, bakery and tavernas. You may want to bring a torch for night-time walks back. Very clean throughout. Bedrooms are a fair size with private balcony; bathrooms are smallish but adequate. Constant hot water and fridge with mini-freezer for ice. For a good view of the Aegean, you need a room on the top floor.. The hotel is run by Thrassos, an ex-professional football player, and his lovely wife, Thespina. Thrassos keeps a tight rein on all aspects of his hotel and restaurant. The pool is kept to a very high standard and is a pleasure to swim in. We were there at the end of the season when there were few people about; it could get quite crowded in high season. Breakfast is good too.

we have just returned from a week at Ela Mesa with our friends from Australia.
I can not fault this wonderful hotel in any way.
The food, the rooms, the service, the pool complex and the bar and restaurant were all exceptional.
All the staff wanted you to have the best experience possible in the most relaxed place.
we will definitely return to this little oasis.
Every room has a sea view and outside space, the rooms were spotless and the shower very good.Also free Wi Fi and air conditioning.

Superb hotel with beautiful view of the sea. Restaurant next to an amazing pool and the food so good||||||||||| The owner and the staff very,very friendly and polite,they made our stay so pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have just had a most relaxing two weeks at Ela Messa in Souvala Aegina. Mr Thrassos and his staff always provide a most relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. We initially thought two weeks would be too long, however the time just slopped away without us realizing. The accommodation was clean and the rooms have private air conditioning to cater for the Greek Summer. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise with authentic Greek food cooked on the premises with locally sources fresh ingredients. We are definitely returning again very soon.

Excellent family hotel with stunning sea view over the Mediterranean off Athens. Restaurant by the pools offering Greek cuisine that make you wish for more. The owners and their staff help you readily. Nearby lies a small harbour with restaurants, a bakery (with delicious pastries) and a supermarket.
