This hotel is a lot bigger than we usually visit.... but it was great. It is right on the beach, it’s gardens are beautiful, the pool area is spacious and clean ( putting towels on sun beds first thing happens.... shouldn’t be allowed and anyone doing it should have their towels chucked in the pool!). The food was plentiful, but I would have liked some Spanish choice.
We celebrated our ruby wedding anniversary during our stay.... the actual reason for our visit and it was a lovely setting for our special day.
It was quite surreal seeing Christmas decorations and Santa’s grotto going up in the shopping centre 🤣🙈🎅🏼
All in all a wonderful hotel and well worth a stay.

What a fun week here with my friends for my birthday at the Elba once again can't wait to come back soon 😀 the staff are fantastic and work so hard we also met so many good people. Big up to Martin and Alex and many others of the animation team but can't remember the names lol for getting Ruben to dance with Pepe @ the mini disco😀.

The hotel can be reached in approximately 10 minutes by taxi from the airport at a cost of ~€12. You can also take a local bus (service #3) for ~€2, but it takes a little longer as it serves a number of local towns on route. Make sure to get off at bus stop “Atlantico Centre”, with the hotel being located just across the road. The hotel gardens lead through a key-card controlled gate onto the boardwalk which leads straight onto the beach. In addition, it’s only a short walk to the main shopping centre which includes a multi-screen cinema, several restaurants and a large supermarket.
I would cite the staff as being the hotels greatest asset. They are uniformly excellent and in all my travels I can’t recall encountering staff with such a pleasant, helpful disposition and for whom no request seemed to be too much trouble. Top marks!
My room was on the 2nd floor, furnished to a good standard (including fridge), with a wide selection of TV channels being available. I had no issues with noise and slept very well. My booking was for half board and I was impressed by the variety and standard of food which was available at both breakfast and dinner. Guests will not be disappointed by the quality and range of items which are available.
In summary, a well-run hotel with great staff, easy access to the beach and which I would highly recommend, particularly for those with young families.

Just returned home from our stay at Elba Carlota, after a long day travelling looked forward to getting to our room. Well, what a disappointment, no porter to take your cases and location of room was dire.
My husband emailed hotel to request a room near to the lift as possible due to his medical condition, he cannot walk very far without enduring severe pain, Tanya replied and said she would do her best. Our room was located furthest away from the lift, so back to reception we went. Tanya looked to see if any rooms nearer to the lift were available, to cut a long story short we had a room three doors away from the previous room so not a lot in it and still quite a distance from lift.
Room good, looked in the fridge as we needed a drink, no drinks to be found, not even a bottle of water which is something I have never encountered when all inclusive.
It did get better after that initial start to our holiday. Hotel is in a good location with the beach not too far away, we visited the beach one afternoon for a couple of hours, there is a charge for sun beds and parasol, 3.50 euros each item. There are plenty of sun loungers dotted all around the pools and around the beautiful grounds, which is looked after very well.
Most of the staff are friendly although a few more smiles wouldn’t go amiss in the restaurant. Ferdinand was the exception to this as she always had a smile.
Food in the restaurant and the Arrecife snack bar was always good with plenty of choice too.
The animation team are the best we have ever seen, they put a lot of work and effort into entertaining the guests, considering I don’t normally join in with activities on holiday, I felt comfortable doing so here, I enjoyed the stretching, yoga and the aqua arobics was great fun, so thank you to all the team. Evening entertainment was excellent, acts that they brought in and the animation teams own shows were highly entertaining.
All in all thank you for a wonderful holiday at Elba Carlotta and hope to return in the future.

My wife and I enjoyed another wonderful week at the Elba Carlota. This was our fourth time here in November. The food, staff and facilities were first class and the weather helps of course. Will definitely be back.
