Eldora Lodge was one of the best get always I have had in a while. The price was fair, and the service was the best. The staff made you feel at home and are just very nice down to earth people. The room was very comfortable and neat! They made this stay a memorable experience.

We (young couple early 30's) stayed at this gorgeous lodge as a surprise weekend trip for a birthday and from check in to check out, the level of service was outstanding! The views from the deck by the hot tub (although we were unfortunately too tired to check it out) were great and breakfast the next morning! I don't have words - home cooked, lots of options (I'm a veggie and left stuffed) and amazing coffee! The room itself; we stayed in room 6; was spacious, extremely clean and the heated floors in the bathroom.. need I say more? I wish we could have stayed an extra night!

We chose the lodge as a 'post-eclipse' stay, driving down from WY. After being in the biggest traffic jam ever, we made it..late. We received a call from the lodge, en-route, making sure we were ok! They left the lights on for us. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a fox in the parking lot. You are high above Golden, great views, surrounded by forests. After weeks on the road, my wife liked this place best. Finally, a decent breakfast... Wait until you see what Rebecca puts in the crock pots. Eggs frittata, blueberry casserole, etc...It was delicious. Surrounded by forests, you'll see how quiet it is at night. We would go back in a second! (The dogs loved it, too)

This place is AMAZING! It far exceeded our expectations in every way. Loved how easy it was to get to, but still secluded. It was clean, beautiful, rustic, yet modern and very classy. The breakfast was outstanding, the people were wonderful, parking was easy. This is by far the VERY BEST place we've stayed at above all others. We booked the Honeymoon Suite for our wedding night. And we can't wait to have another excuse to go back. Loved it!!!!!!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in August, using Eldora Lodge as our basecamp for days hiking and climbing in nearby canyons or the Indian Peaks high country. We loved the lodge and absolutely would go back again. Quiet, comfortable but well-supplied rooms, fine views, excellent breakfasts, and cheerful staff (Mike & Rebecca owners) all helped out. The mountaintop location gives a western view from the patio and jacuzzi toward Longs Peak and the Continental Divide, or the Milky Way at night.
It's about 45 minutes to Boulder, much closer to Nederland (and right next to Wondervu Cafe) for dinner options. Hiking trails at Brainard Lake, or rock climbing in Clear Creek and Boulder Canyons, likewise are 30-45 minutes away, but the driving is scenic in all directions. It was a fun part of our day to return up the hill to the lodge.
