I thought the staff was very unfriendly and rude. And dogs we're allowed which everyone had two of. I didn't like that. It was rated as a high class place but I would give it low class marks. Didn't use any other facilities.

Nice hotel. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Only complaint was I was staying on the 6th floor. The was no hot water in the shower. Let it run for a few minutes and it wouldn't go past like warm.

We booked a room last minute at this hotel while watching a football game in Crested Butte in September. Not 2 hours later, we went to the hotel and found out we would have to pay an additional $30 for the parking garage, on top of the $120 room fee. My husband told them we would rather drive home, and cancelled the room. The people at the desk assured us we would not be charged. We drove 1.5 hrs home.
The next day I saw that my credit card had been charged. I immediately filed for a refund with Booking.com. Their people even intervened with the hotel on our behalf, and the hotel refused to give a refund. We have been calling the hotel reservation office and the general manager almost every other day since then and still have no results, and no money back. They called us back once, only leaving a phone number, and we haven't gotten through to them since.
We will never stay here and advise others not to.

I hiked West Maroon Pass from the Aspen side and stayed at The Elevation Hotel at the end of the day. It is near the ski area and the road we drove from the end of the trail. It was easy to find. The shuttle to town at night was perfect. The hot tub was a beautiful way to end the day. Staff was very helpful. The room had a small fridge, etc but I didn’t need any of that but it would be nice if you had food with you and you didn’t want to go out. Price was right for our purpose.

For the cost of this hotel, I would not stay again. Although not a horrible hotel, I have very few positive things to say. I stayed at The Elevation Hotel and Spa for two nights in October 2017 to view the fall colors and to go hiking. The view from my hotel room was limited with little to see. I stayed in a double queen and the room itself was decent sized. It also had a small kitchen area with a microwave and mini fridge (located in the closet!) The bathroom, however, was not laid out well. The toilet and sink were barely spaced far enough apart to stand between them and use the sink. The shower was miniature, slimy on the bottom and did not drain well. I ended up standing in 4 inches of water during my shower. My room was not cleaned thoroughly from the previous guest and my trash can was full, coffee in the coffee maker, no filters or extra coffee for me. Check in was very impersonal. The staff did not make me feel welcome at all. No map/layout of the hotel or advise where anything was located. First impression was not a positive one. Parking is horrible. I can't stress this point enough. When you pull into the underground entrance you have to leave your car and take an elevator up two floors and then find the check in desk. No signage at all to point you in the proper direction;however plenty of signs saying "Park at your own risk" and many people did. Some of the one way rows were blocked and overall extremely tight. The doors closing in the hallway were very loud and I could hear dogs barking. I ate at the the buffet in the restaurant for breakfast and it cost me $18. Absolutely not worth $18. I got a bagel and it was incredibly dry. Parking is $20 a day, plus a $20 a day resort fee, plus if you want to use WiFi or the spa, even more fees. I would not stay again.
