We had a nice stay here on our recent trip to Colorado. The room was on the second floor and it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room is small and there is very little horizontal surface, but it was adequate. We used our own “white noise” app at night since we needed to have the window open to keep the room cool. The heater works well. The breakfast was good with some homemade hot dishes each morning. One of the best things about this place is the location, which let us walk into town each day and enjoy the culture of this town.

This was our fourth visit to CB and our first to the Elk Mountain Lodge. It was remarkably well thought-out: every detail was already taken care of. It was very clean and quite lovely. It's not common to find such nice furnishings in pet-friendly rooms and we appreciated it very much! The staff were friendly and kindly, which helped us relax. The breakfasts were amazing: something different every day and each morning was tasty. Our only complaint: we over-ate at breakfast time! They even have cruiser bikes available for guests to get around town! That was spectacular because CB is not a car kinda town! We look forward to returning to CB and to the Elk Mountain Lodge!

First time at Elk Mountain in the center of the Town of Crested Butte was a wonderful experience great friendly staff, excellent accommodations, quiet and all amenities. location in the heart of the walk to all great dining experiences would certainly return and recommend ample parking nice breakfast.

Although I agree withs some of the other reviews on the charm and great location, the two young women who worked on the two days we were there definitely need a course in customer service. My companion and I both had experiences in which the hosts were borderline rude.

This place is right in the heart of downtown Crested Butte. Well maintained and taken care of. The rooms are small however well take Care of and clean! The bed and sheets/comforter were very comfy. Our room had a balcony and had views of all the mountains! Will return!
