We had a really enjoyable 3-night stay with breakfast. We were warmly greeted on arrival and escorted to our room in the Lodge. The room was very clean and well equipped with a lovely comfy bed. The breakfast was fantastic and all the staff were very friendly. The decor in the main building is very impressive. Will stay again and would highly recommend.

This is my third business stay here and I have to say I find the hotel really quirky a mix of modern ish in the lodge to grand country house in the main part of the hotel. The staff are always friendly and helpful evening meals are always hearty and well cooked, breakfast is a treat with lots to choose from in the buffet...it is very close to the main road but you really don't notice it once you are inside! I'll be back regularly as it's a great business stop off

Recently stopped over for two nights.
We could not fault the hotel. Good value for money. Restaurant and bar were sensible prices.
Our room was well equipped and clean
Staff were lovely. A guest complained earlier they only had one key between them. Why didn't they just ask for another one!
The staff were all lovely. Very helpful.

We stopped last week end for two nights. Excellent welcome , lovely room , fantastic breakfast .
We were in room 202.lovely room .
Only complaints we had and they were small . Was that the shower was a little cold .
The other was that they only gave you one key . Which was fine if as a couple you are staying together. But we weren't as were a load of my friends . We ended up knocking up our wife's at 1.30am to let a load of revellers into their rooms . Sorry about the noise .
Please give people two keys ,it just make life easier other than that great place to stay .

On initial approach to the hotel I was a little disappointed to see how close it was to the main road, the online photographs allow your mind to expect the hotel to sit in vast grounds. However, once through the gate and through the main doors we forgot about the road. You enter to a beautiful stair case with reception to the right. We were met by a lovely young man who greeted us with a friendly smile. We checked in and were not just directed to our room which was located in the lodge, we were personally escorted. Our room was very clean and modern in presentation, I particularly liked having 2 blinds (a wooden slatted one for allowing the glorious sunshine in and a black out blind for blocking the sun out very early in the morning! Brilliant idea). We were able to park really close to the lodge which made carrying bags much easier. We ate out with friends in the evening so didn't sample the food available at the hotel in the evenings. We were also given a fob which opened the gates if we arrived back late. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was spot on! Breakfast was in the main hotel, good choice of cereals, yoghurt and fruit, various bread and help yourself to the usual full English. Absolutely no complaints with the quality of the food. Tea and coffee plus fruit juices also available with staff very attentive and offering to fill up tea and coffee throughout. Thank you for such a pleasant stay :) we will definitely be back!
