I would only recommend this place to someone I really disliked!!!
It was very difficult to find there were no signs at all on the road into Elounda to show its location. They employed a very clever photographer, the place was not what it looked like on the web site. When we arrived the staff member at reception was very abrupt and unhelpful. The bedroom was very basic but was clean but the bathroom was like the black hole of Calcutta. Very poor light and it stank of drains. Every time we used the hand basin or the shower dirty water rose up from a drain cover in the floor and flooded the bathroom. The Wi Fi did not work in the bedroom and did not work in the lounge area once everyone had finished dinner and were on their phones etc. The food was very poor and the all inclusive drinks in the pool bar were disgusting and undrinkable. DONT GO THERE

If you fancy a massage then go and meet with Marina [the SPA Manager]. You will have a great welcoming moment.
I enjoyed the last massage of the season with Errika, the Therapist. Errika is brilliant!

We found ourselves here for 2 nights after our hotel had electrical problems! All I can say is never again, we left there first thing to go to our original hotel, even if it meant a room wasn't ready, we would rather sit there than stay a minute longer!! We arrived late Saturday night and to be fair the room was very clean if somewhat dated! Shower was tepid but it did the job, breakfast was awful!! Pools dirty, gardens unkept!! That evening went for a shower, freezing cold.....called reception they sent maintenance to 'fix', tried to shower later but still no hot water, rang reception to be told we could use another room to shower??? Not acceptable, we got up and out first thing, told reception and she really didn't care! We use trip advisor all the time for recommendations and I would say avoid this hotel if you want a relaxing holiday with good food, if you are looking for a base to sleep and nothing else then it would be fine!!

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for only 4 nights all inclusive. When we arrived the staff member at reception was very rude to us, I appreciated that it was 2 am but in my opinion they should always have good customer service. When they gave us the hotel key they just pointed to the door to go through, not even helping us with the luggage down the stairs. When we finally arrived in the room it was definitely not what we had saw online! We had a safe however the safe was broken so we could not store our valuables anywhere. The bathroom was small and the bath was the size of a sink, the beds were hard and uncomfortable and the whole room was drastically different from the pictures. When we woke up for breakfast we were happy to finally eat from a long day the night before. However to our disappointment there was hardly anything to eat unless you liked fruit and salad, lunch and dinner was the same. They didn’t provide any tours for us and refused to tell us tours because we were English “we don’t do tours for English” which was very disappointing. Luckily there was a local shop where we brought some food. For the 4 nights we were there we had the same food every night and just sat by the pool everyday. We couldn’t message friends and family unless we used our phone data as they said there was free WiFi but it didn’t actually work. 2 days before leaving we had asked for a late checkout however we would of had to pay €40 for which we thought it wouldn’t matter if we didn’t have late checkout as they could hold our luggage until we left, that was soon to be proven wrong on our last day. We had to be out our room by 12 so we went to reception with our luggage and asked where we could put them, this was in a luggage locked which we had to pay for and pay every time we wanted our luggage out of the locker! As we didn’t have a room to go to the toilet we thought that there would be more than 2 toilets in the hotel which we were also wrong about. There were only toilets in the restaurant and by the pool which was 3 flights of stairs down from reception. Overall it was a sunny holiday but I wished the hotel looked like the pictures and could of been a lot better. I believe that this hotel should be a 2 1/2 stars not a 4.

The hotel was very clean we stayed in a garden view room. The food was okay not a lot of variety you had fish pork and chicken everyday with various salads and pasta. There was soup and breads. Choice of deserts. They provided a microwave as the food was tepid. I wouldn't recommend the al a carte as the food choice is the same as the main restaurant and the service poor the waiter couldn't understand anything we said and had to get someone else to speak to us. Regarding the main restaurant some of the staff were very ignorant and unhelpful when asked for certain things like drinking glasses etc.
They looked at you and shrugged their shoulders or told you to see management. However if you spoke French or Russian they couldn't do enough for you. The late breakfast advertised is a joke we decided to go late one morning (10.30 - 11.00 late breakfast time). Got there 10.30 had a coffee then went to pick what to eat only to find
everything being cleared away when I asked a member of staff she said very abruptly
finished I pointed out it was only 10.40 and not yet 11.00 to which the shoulders were shrugged and she walked off with her trolley of food. I think a customer service course is required by the majority of staff and they also need to learn how to smile. Not all the staff are like that but the few that are rude spoil it for the others. If the staff are unhappy they need to leave and give someone else the chance to earn money after all if no one went to the hotel they wouldn't have a job so it is in their interest to ensure holiday makers want to return. The pool areas are clean. The lower pool is more for games and aqa exercise. The top pool is quieter but the steps into the pool need something done as the first step down is further than you think and a lot of people ended up falling into the pool maybe put a hand rail in place and shortening the first step down. Also the beds around the pool are not very comfortable an upgrade is required. Taxi into elounda is 7euro and there are plenty of shops and bars/restaurants. We went to spinalonga you can get the boat across for 10 euro each but you pay to tour the island once there. It is worth the trip recommended.
