The staff at this Embassy Suites is horrible; lacking in professionalism and common courtesy. We attempted to check in at 4:30pm (after completing a check in on their mobile app the evening prior witha 3pm check in time). We were still sitting in their lobby with no room one hour later. Ultimately, we ended up leaving to check into Sheraton Suites around the corner.
Our experience was so deplorable, we will never stay in another Hilton property.

This is my 2nd time visiting this hotel within this year. The staff was great and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. My family and I enjoyed the evening reception and buffet breakfast. The only downside was my kids were looking forward to enjoying pancakes/or waffles, and I was told they were only available on the week days and not the weekends. This seemed kind of backwards to me. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. The indoor pool was awesome and one of the many reasons we decided to come back. The location is also convenient. There’s lots of shopping and restaurants close by.

The hotel staff is courteous, room was clean and large. The room was quiet through the night. I used the hotel transportation to visit a local restaurant, all went well. One big change since my last visit is the installation of crossing arm barriers to enter and exit the parking lot, apparently due to the new baseball park visitors. If you have trouble with very back crossing arm, I learned after the fact to push the call button and they will open the gate for you. Also, there is not a charge for parking.

I stayed here for two nights on business. The location was good, surrounded by restaurants and a mall. The rooms were fabulous! They were all suites with a huge living area, beautiful bathroom, and separate bed room. The king-sized bed was super comfortable. They also had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee area and wet bar. Everything you need. The free breakfast and 2 hour happy hour in the lobby were also great extras. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

We stayed here while attending a concert at Phillips Arena. We wanted something not to far from downtown without paying the downtown price for the room and parking for two vehicles. Parking at Embassy Suites was $8 per vehicle (one night). We did have issues using our room key to get out of the parking lot but the hotel said they would reimburse us. The line to get out was long as it seemed that others were having the same issue so everyone would have to keep backing up in order to let the person at the gate get back.
The hotel was nice and clean on the inside and you could tell the hotel was renovated.
The room, as with all Embassy Suites we have stayed at, is spacious. The first room has a desk, chairs, couch and tv. In the middle was a sink, microwave, mini fridge and coffee area. There was also a small closet. The bedroom had two beds as well as a chair and tv. There was a sliding door that blocked off the bedroom from the rest of the rooms. The only thing I did not like about the room was the bathroom. There counter space is huge but there was no lock on the door. There's a sliding door for the bathroom that has no locking mechanism at all. I have seen several hotels start going to this sliding door method but they have all had some type of lock.
I usually prefer to sleep on the couch vs the bed and since the couch is in the first room, I could hear everything in the hall and lobby/atrium all during the night. If you want silence and peace, go to the bedroom!
The hotel offers a complimentary evening reception as well as breakfast. For the reception, adults are allowed two alcoholic beverages. There are also sodas and snacks. The snacks consisted of bags of popcorn, pretzels, pits chips, cheese, trail mix, pimento cheese, chips and salsa. The pimento cheese and pita chips were excellent! I do wish there was a separate line for those just wanted soda. Or even a self serve soda machine. I had to wait for the five people in front of me to order mix drinks just to get a sprite and water.
I wasn't a fan of the breakfast at this location. This is the first Embassy Suites I have been to where they had meat in their potatoes. I'm a vegetarian so I was looking forward to the potatoes. They have an omelet station, mini sausages, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, etc.
The hotel is very close to a nearby shopping center with plenty of restaurants and not too far from the downtown area.
Overall the stay was ok. I wouldn't completely rule the place out for our return trip to Atlanta, it just wouldn't be my first choice due to the lock on the bathroom door and the noise level being heard in the atrium. It is a good value for the meals and snacks as well as space that you receive!
