As soon as I arrived, I was assisted by Elizabeth who was polite, professional, and most patient responding to my inquiries. The room was clean and comfortable. Of course, there’s the manager’s special with drinks and snacks, which is not new because it’s at all of the Embassy Suite properties. Nevertheless, it was quite nice. We had a tasty meal in the restaurant. The waitress was excellent! In other words, the staff was outstanding!

The service and accommodations were very good. The complimentary breakfast is the best I've experience of all the hotels that I have stayed at. I will definitely stay there again if I come back to the area.

I attended the fifth annual Jazz legacy. The Embassy suites is the official hotel for the event. It is a four day event that starts on Thursday and goes till Sunday evening. The Embassy suites was the perfect hotel. The staff was fantastic. The atmosphere was great. They have a breakfast buffet that you can also have homemade omelettes or eggs anyway you want , The chef’s The line moving and honestly I don’t know how they kept it straight but they did a fantastic job, everything was cooked to perfection. I also had dinner in the hotel restaurant and that was also five stars. The lounge area and bar area in the lobby was on buzz the whole time. It was a very inviting atmosphere. It also helps that they were open after hours so when you finish the show you could go have a nightcap or just hang out at the many guest that were in the lobby. The rooms in this hotel are extremely nice and spacious. The hotel is located in such a convenient spot to the convention center and the Colosseum and there are many shops and other restaurants right up the road, you could literally parked your car and walk to almost anything else you need. The hotel also has a very nice gym and a pool . I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re in the Hampton area.

I have been staying at this hotel when I visit the area for work. The hotel is in desperate need of an update. The rooms and beds are dated. In the rooms, the walls have rips & tears and my last room had marker or crayon on the walls. The carpet needs to be replaced in the rooms I've stayed in. However, besides being older, the rooms are well appointed. I've had a two room suite each visit and the bedroom faces the outside wall of the hotel and the living area faces the interior of the hotel. It's an unusual set up, but it makes for quiet sleeping.
The managers’ reception is adequate, though not as comprehensive as other embassy suites. There are no hot food items on the buffet. They have chips, salsa, veggies, dip and sometimes popcorn. The drinks are beer, wine, pre-made margaritas & limited cocktails. I did not eat breakfast here, but the buffet looks complete and they have made-to-order omelets.
I’ve eaten at the hotel restaurant multiple times and I found the food to be average quality and taste. They say that the mac & cheese eggrolls are their specialty, but twice I’ve ordered them and they were cold or frozen inside. Also, I found their menu to be over priced for the quality of the food items.
This hotel serves my needs for business travel, but I'm not sure I would stay here for vacation due to the dated rooms and overly priced hotel restaurant.

Pre-arrival issues original room booked was not cleaned and ready at 3 pm, given another room. Although I did not report Mattress quality was horrible and interfered with my ability to get the proper rest.
