I’ve stayed here multiple times over the last few years. The hotel has been upgraded since my last visit and has a more modern look and feel to both in the guest rooms and in the courtyard area. The free breakfast area is wisely laid out. Some Embassy breakfast areas are so poorly designed that even on a week day morning they are congested. Kudos to this hotel for that.
It’s conveniently located near the airport and and the hotel runs a shuttle. It’s maybe 15 minutes from downtown with its River Walk and Alamo.

Great room, great atmosphere, great place to stay! We will be back! Loved how the inside is set up to look looks it’s outside. The bar staff was friendly and the hotel staff was helpful. Our room was awesome

I stayed with my nephew, his wife and their 3 children. We had a double suite with 3 double beds and 2 bathrooms. 😁 What a treat to have a "comfort" toilet for me as an older person! The made to order omelet at breakfast was out standing! Complaint: The bedroom floors were dirty; gritty with dirt! The P.M. snacks were lacking in substance. Needed tea and more veggies. Every crackers had glutens.

This hotel has been renovated and looks very nice now.
Typical Embassy suites good breakfast and cocktail hour.
However, beware of the bar prices after happy hour ends they are outrageous.
I paid $7.50 for a beer and watched a man pay $19 for a double scotch and another man pay $23 for 2 margaritas.

This has always been a great place to stay in San Antonio. It is convenient to the airport, convenient to Ft. Sam. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well serviced. Complimentary breakfast and evening happy hour are very significant in attracting me and my military teaching group to return to this hotel regularly. Cost is also very reasonable for services provided.
