We've stayed here several times before, never again. Especially as the rates are currently higher than other Hiltons nearby at the moment.. Usually preferred due to the room type and location. On checking in, empty water bottle under the bed, dirtier than usual. Cold last night and outside now. Engineering says that heat/cold is on neutral and more people would have to complain before they turn it on. Front desk stated that if they could they would but problem is the way the building was built. ?? Provided one small space heater. Say that's all we can run in the room. As a Diamond member, I'm highly disappointed and knowing how other properties are built and run, suggest avoiding this one. Understand there can be problems, it's how you handle them. This one is too cavalier, giving us the attitude, we're the problem. Oh yeah, the refrigerator groaned all night, so shut it off if you wind up staying here and also have a old one.

I stayed at this property while traveling to Silicon Valley for a meeting. If you have stayed at an Embassy Suites, you know the drill a slightly larger room (a "suite") with a clean, quiet atmosphere where one can work or relax, etc. An easy hurdle to clear, right?
Let's start with the quiet part: Uh. Not at this location. The night I arrived they were hosting a large and loud private party in one of the bars. Unfortunately, perhaps because of the open floor plan, I was treated to two hours of blaring hip-hop and salsa music all mixed with in with the yelling of drunken party people. To make matters worse, the following morning, as I was sitting in the dining area and working after breakfast, they broke out the construction equipment! I moved to my room, hoping it would be more quiet. Nope! Nothing like listening to (not kidding) two-plus hours of jack hammering while you try to work. I understand from reading a few signs asking guests to pardon the dust that the property is undergoing renovations. But a tip when booking would have been appreciated.
Now, for the clean part. My room had an incredibly gross patch of soggy carpet outside the bathroom - apparently due to a leak in the tub. The door frame to the to the bath area was actually rusted through at the bottom. Just gross.
Long story short - I had a terrible night's sleep and, during the day, was unable to work.
I showed two people working at the front desk a series of photos I had taken and tried to discuss these issues with the manager -- but she was not on site. I left my number and asked her to call me. Still waiting.
One positive note: although I never heard from the manager, everyone else I interacted with at the property was incredibly nice.

We loved this hotel, we just stayed there on two different occasions this month. We enjoyed the reception time, the breakfasts and the room. The only thing that needs work, are the customer service employees. We stayed on two different occasions and when checking out, we were never asked how our stay was. Which completely surprised me.
It's near the airport but we didn't hear the planes. The free shuttle service worked well for us too.
When we return to San Francisco, we will stay there again. (our first visit was 32 years ago and it was just as great then.

Stayed at Embassy Suite returning from vacation for one night. Overall experience was okay. The breakfast was really good and the staff was nice and professional as well. The hotel sits right on the bay and the airport shuttle was very convenient. The bed mattress had seen better days as the bed seem to have a hole in the middle of the bed. The bathroom was tiny and needed to be cleaned better. The towels we had had in our room were dingy. There were pluses and minus for us during our stay. Nothing to bad where I wouldn't stay again but then again nothing that says this is the place to stay.

My family and I decided to go there for a short vacation we have stayed there once before years ago they were very courteous when we came in and the happy hour reception was okay the guy was very funny and courteous to us.
