I arrived at hotel a free a 21 hour workday.
My company had guaranteed a reservatiokn for me. The young lady that greeted me confirmed my reservation and asked fgir a credit card deposit for incidentals. I then discovered that I had left the credit card in the bank envelope from an earlier deposit. The envelope unfortunately was 300 miles away. I explained this to her and she rudely informed me that that was their policy and there wasn't anything she could do.
I offered to leave the deposit in cash and again was told that without a credit card there wasn't anything she could do.
I asked if I could speak to her manager. He came out and rudely informed me that that was their policy.
I informed them that I would have to return to Sa n Antonio after a 21 hour workday and risk an accident due to exhaustion, and again they said there wasn't anything they could do.
If youre a business traveler, I would advise to look at other properties in Corpus Christi. There are others that are more accommodating.
This group doesn't care for your well-being.
Disappointed is a kind word for what I'm feeling right now!!
BTW, the room was guaranteed, so they kept the money and saved some by not having to clean it today.

It was nice. It did smell heavy of chlorine from enclosed swimming pool. The smell came all the way down the hall.
Beautiful scenery of beach! It was a good place to relax and enjoy the moves of the waves.

I have stayed at this hotel last year and I was truly impressed. This year I was so disgusted that I was barely able to sleep. I had to sleep fully clothe because my room was so nasty. The sheets and comforter were both nasty so I slept on top of the covers with my clothes on and lights on. There were roaches (large ones) in the room and around the property as well. It was very disappointing. I did not even take food to my room in fear that more roaches would come out. Very disappointing. We had my grandchildren with us which made it worst. Horrible conditions!

Room initially smelled like pee but dissapated? Walls are thin and i could hear full on conversations of my neighbors. Loud mechanical banging noises overhead. Slightly afraid to walk barefoot in my room. DIRTY SHEETS, DO CHECK BEFORE USING THE BED. keycard easily magnetized which lead to multiple replacement keys. LOUD neighbors nightly that was addressed by staff daily. very friendly and informative staff. Cute bar and beach out back. Free airport shuttle. Pet friendly.

Great location. Historic hotel. Right by the beach. Reasonable price. Two eateries. Close to everything. Swimming pool and private beach. Clean rooms. Choose beach front with balcony. Bathroom needed work. Breakfast is good the bar is cute the staff could have been more friendly.
