This hotel strikes you as a bit barren at first, but it has very comfortable rooms, beautiful views, and you can easily spend an afternoon in the spa, with its several pools, jacuzzis and saunas.
It is a few kilometres out of town, so we enjoyed our stay as a break between hectic sightseeing, rather than as a base for sightseeing - we'd already had a few nights in the town.
Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and I especially loved being able to enjoy the expansive water views from the bath.
We ordered simple room service for dinner, driving into town felt like a bother after a day of lounging around, and the restaurant didn't appeal - even though I can't comment on it really. We did enjoy a good breakfast there.
There were families there, and it probably appeals to families with its pools, but the spa is not really a place for play for the kids.

The 4/5 rating simply means that there are bound to be more luxurious hotels. However this place had everything we needed and some things (like a spa) that we didn't. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast always fine, the view from the room great. It's a bit out of town, but taxis aren't a budget breaker - or you can do what we did sometimes and take the local bus (350 pesos). Chiloé is a incredible place, capable to keep your soul in a warm hug! This hotel is really confortable, clean and the rooms are quite unique with their seeview!! You do not miss this hotel and the places that offer this island. Keep a car and discover it!!

We are not asking something we do not have at home. We stay at Enjoy-Chiloe hotel on June 2017. The room, bed and the view were great. The breakfast had lots of fresh and high quality food. But....La Barquera restaurant dinning space was plenty of smoke from the fireplace, the heating system of the room performed poorly and the supportive hot air heating system was noise during the first nigh. The bathroom cleaning standard can be improved. We asked the front desk to check and solve the problems and they did, but it seems that they need to improve their preventive maintainance procedures, why a passenger has to ask them to solve this type of basic issues?

The hotel is a little out of town which in this case is a good thing, the town of Castro does not offer very much
We stayed in both a suite and a normal room. These units are high on design yet low on comfort.
The views are great. The hotel staff are wonderful. There is a casino right next door. My wife loved the indoor pool. There are jacuzzis outside with drink service
