Went recently to Jim Corbett and stayed here for two days.
Had a wonderful stay. The Rooms are appropriately sized and priced, the food is awesome. The pool is nice and clean.
They are located at the riverside. You can enjoy your food there too.
Most importantly the staff is very cooperative. One of the very good staffs I encountered in recent times.

Recently we visited Jim Corbet national park and stayed in Pratiksha River Retreat. As the name suggests it is really a retreat near river Koshi. Once you turned onto the driveway leading to the hotel, you experience silence broken only by the vehicle and the breeze passing through the trees.
The suite allotted to us was very large,clean and comfortable.
The staff were helpful and cooperative
Food served was delicious and healthy.
Since the accommodations are individual units, it provides privacy and at the same time we enjoyed the greenery and the various resident birds from the sanctuary of the balcony.
From the dining hall we enjoyed the landscaped garden and the river beyond.
On the whole we took back a pleasant memory.

Had a wonderful stay at Pratiksha in mid of May. We were on all boys trip with my office Colleagues. I would rate it on each criteria..
1. Location - 4 star..
When you going to Corbette, one thing you must have in mind is, all the resorts, Hotels are outside the park boundaries. Only State run guesthouses are inside the Forest range in Dhikala, BIjrani and other. Bookings are done 45 days prior to the check-in. This resort is at one of the best place - Dhikuli village. Its a bit offroad and a narrow street (broad enough for a SUV) lead you to the Resort at Banks of Kosi river. At the backdrop there is lawn and beside that is river kosi. Its a fantabulos location, away from the hussle of City, If you are looking for a Peace, Its a good choice
2. Accomodation : 3.5 Star,
Rooms are Okay, worth its value. There are four duplex rooms in a block, rooms are little far from the Reception and restraunt.
3. Restraunt : 3.5 Star
Restraunt offers both Buffet and Ala Carte. Food taste like home made food, with balanced spices and fat. which is good for health, but if you are hardcore lover of punjabi food, you may feel little disappointed. otherwise it was awesome. They serve variety of cusines.
4. Service: 5 Star
Best part was the service Staff. We were on All Boyz trips, and were high on Adrenaline. Room service was prompt and humble. Really appreciate their patience and humbleness. Ten out of Ten!

I visited this place in March 2016. I would rate this place not very good, but yes above the average. The best thing is that place is just near to the river. So you can walk down and enjoy if you want different experience from swimming pool. Ample space for kids to play. Rooms are ok. You can have better view from the above rooms. They have balconies. Food also is kind of mix. Some dishes really good and some ok. Service is good but not motivated. Caution: please check hot water supply in bathrooms, clean sheets and there is only single lane to either enter or exit for vehicle. But its not an issue. Overall, nice place and economical.

It's a great place to relax and spend a couple of days with friends and family. Food is good and the staff is extremely polite and ready to help. Wonderful service, great location and yummy food, make any vacation a pleasant one. Pratiksha has all of these. Would love to go back definitely.
