I stayed at this crazy place during canton fair. Nobody speaks english. They don't even understand simple stuff like call me a taxi. Nobody is willing to help you even with directions. Nobody will help you with bags. No food around for about a mile. Phone in the room does not dial to front desk. Room number is written on your card so if you lose your room key someone who'll find it will know where to go. Safe in the room is very light and not attached to anything I couldn't figure out how to use it. You will be disconnected from internet there no wifi. I heard that you can get local SIM card and use vpn app to connect and bypass their dumb firewall of china to get to google on your cell phone. Quality that you see on the pictures are lies. Elevators are slow and it's hot everywhere. I was on the level 37 imagine the fun getting up and down in the slow elevator. It's a freaking twilight zone. Largest bill is 100 RMB. It's $15. In some sit down places they asking you to pay for food upfront like you are going to steal it or something. China is the wired twilight zone and you need to be prepared before you go there. I stayed here during the Canton Fair and chose this property due to it's handy location and ignored the negative reviews on Tripadvisor and Booking,com.
The location of this property is ideal for the fair as its a quick walk a block or so away, there is also the subway on your doorstep. Staff do not speak English, with the exception of the Manager.
There is nowhere to eat in this area and this is by no means a self service apartment. The hotel provides tea cups, that's it. We didn't have a spoon, a fork or a plate so unsure why there is a stovetop because there is nothing to cook with or eat off.
The room was comfortable and the beds quite soft by Chinese standards, the bathroom was clean, albeit a little tired and we were provided bottled water daily.
The hotel had taken payment for my entire stay prior to my arrival (even though my booking was guaranteed without a deposit and payment to be made at check in). When I checked in they then attempted to charge me again for the total stay. When I questioned this, the staff member said they cancelled the payment which presented a big problem as the money was then sitting in limbo and I wasn't prepared to make the payment again. The staff member called the Manager who, after much discussion, agreed to take x2 nights tariff from me and $100 security deposit as he said the money would be back in my account in 3 days, at which time I should make the payment. I agreed to this, however, was very aware that I have never had a refund from a hotel appear into my account before 7-10 days.
On the 3rd day, we bumped into the Manager in the hallway and he threatened, with a smile on his face, to lock us out of our room if we didn't make the payment.
Given I had paid for the 2 nights I had used, I told him I would be checking out and promptly moved to a better location and a cheaper, nicer hotel.
I would urge anyone considering this property to look elsewhere as I wish I had heeded other travellers warnings.

Went there during Canton Fair and their prices were elevated for the event but still cheap compared to surrounding hotels.
Rooms felt a little run down but were otherwise quite nice. Great sleep, nice chic bathroom shower. View was alright as it was looking across a muddy channel at a shanty farming thing.
Overall though, for the price it was great value.
Criticism would be that the elevator is extremely slow. During busy times, you can wait 5 minutes for an available elevator. No exaggeration.
Wifi was hit and miss for speed and connection.

We stayed here for 1 night while attending the canton fair.
Seamless check in and check out.
Close to the canton fair and the canton tower. Close to the metro train station.
Very clean and modern.
However, it's a hustle to get an english speaking attendant.

Good value for a business stay. If you are attending the Canton Fair, this hotel is perfectly located, and has direct access to the Pazhou Station. It modern and clean, but not luxurious. It ranks a modest 3 Stars in my book. The down side : There are few good restaurants in the area though. If you want a good dinner, you may want to try the restaurant at the YIWU Commatel (5th floor), or at the Westin.
