I was a bit dubious about staying here after reading some of the reviews on here.
How wrong was I my room no was no 71 and it was lovely very clean and very comfortable. Staff were perfect and the restaurants food was excellent. And to top it all when we had checked out and and were in the airport I realised I had left my mobile phone in the room. I telephoned the reception and they found my phone and delivered it to the airport to me. A wonderful nights stay and will Defo use this lovely hotel again. Thank you to all the staff they were all very friendly and very helpful.

Hotel is friendly, cozy and with a great location near the airport and well connected to visit the city or Manchester surroundings.
Lack a fitness center which could have made the stay much more better.
Staff is very attentive and quick to resolve or help with any request or needs.

This is a wonderful little hotel, very quaint, very homey - loved every bit of it. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the best part about it was that it wasn't like every other hotel, that it was near the airport in Manchester, and I got a ride to the airport. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Quite a nice hotel, great bar staff. Didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment.
Only let down was asking for an alarm call at 4am and got one at 3am due to the clocks changing.
I live quite local but decided to stay so I didn’t have to be up so early how ever due to being woken up earlier I may as well not stopped. Have mentioned this to the hotel over a week ago and still awaiting a response

This was suggested by the venue, I had asked all of my guests to stay here believing they would be treated well with clean rooms.
The hotel also offered a free taxi service to the hotel, one of these had to be paid by my guests!!!
First impressions were old cans in the corner of the room that hadn't been touched for days, receptionist was unfriendly and not helpful and wouldn't help to get any drinks (even though we rang the week before and was told the bar would be open)
The rooms were DISGUSTING, there was old guests rubbish under the beds, glasses were not clean. Holes in the wall and stains on the carpet.
My brother had old socks under his bed and we had an old champagne cork under the bed....I'm so embarrassed to have suggested this hotel.
I have never stayed in a hotel this bad and the price was extortionate considering the state of it and the customer service. I have stayed at 5 star hotels at the same cost.
The rooms look like a grandmas house from the 1930s that hasnt been updated since (and not in a cool vintage way)
Such a shame to have had to deal with this after such a great day.
PLEASE AVOID. This place is not hygienic and the staff will not help you.
We have been trying to get any kind of apology or refund for the best part of a month with no response.
