Excellent but...

Everything was ok excepted one detail: the floor. I was impressed by the melting of the floor. For the rest all was ok thank you. The breakfast was very completed and the service was very friendly. Thank you
Excellent budget hotel

My room was small but adequate with a sink and a desk. It was spotless and had a good view of Cartwright Gardens. I shared a toilet and shower. Both were spotless. The included breakfast was very good. Fresh bananas and mandarines were available and a full English hot breakfast was offered. The service overall was efficient and friendly. There was security with the front door being automatically locked. I highly recommend this budget hotel.
Lovely hotel in the heart of London with peace and quiet to be had

Stayed here for one night with my boyfriend, a really lovely hotel in London but in a peaceful setting, a friendly welcome, rooms are a good size as are the bathrooms, full English available and well worth having. I would stay here again. Near Kings Cross and Pancras International with lots of shops, bars and Resturants.
close to lots of museums

The fire doors were wedged open/not value for money

Ironically the day I was staying there was a note in the room warning of a planned fire alarm test. What a disgrace that the fire doors were left open all night and all day. I am not sure if the wedges show in my photos but they are in the original.
I rarely write a bad review but this time cannot avoid it: the breakfast was boring and the cooked food obviously had been pre-cooked and dried up as left under a heater. For singles the tiny tables are a disgrace considering what we paid. There was absolutely no sign of recycling. The bath towels were so small I would use them for hand towels. In short, this was more like a poor B&B than a hotel.
The one good thing was the free use of a computer in the dining area.
