Central hotel, only a few minutes to beach. Many restaurants nearby. Good sized room and bathroom. Good bed. Clean. Roof terrace with nice view. Sauna, trimroom, no bar or restaurant at hotel, only breakfast room. Book directly at the hotels website and get free water. Good breakfast, tea, coffee, juices, youghurt, 4 types of cheeses, 4 types of ham/salami, tomatoes, fresh fruits, many pastry, eggs, bacon......

As said before, this is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful central location. I'm pretty glad we did not get the views over the town hall as events happened all during our holiday there so we got the best deal of not having it ruin our night sleep but having it on our door step. The staff are so friendly, and will help you out to get anywhere you need to, we wanted to get to benidorm and the receptionist found us a bus and how to get to the bus station, couldn't do more for us! The rooms themselves are beautiful and clean.The only issue I had with the hotel was the loud doors, but it is a very secure building and I felt very comfortable.

I can not begin to explain how wonderful this hotel is. It is located in the best place possible for exploring Alicante (in the same plaza at the city hall) seconds from the harbor, esplanada, and rambla! Located in the old town. On the terrace there is a PHENOMENAL view of the mountain and castle Santa Barbara, I spent hours on this terrace! The customer service is great ESPECIALLY the receptionists, who speak very good English and help you with everything you need to know about the city, including great restaurant and flamenco recommendations! I would highly recommend this hotel.

We loved the location of this hotel in Alicante ... it’s on the edge of the Town Hall square, and really is perfect walking distance for everything.
We had a small balcony which overlooked the square, and it was fantastic for people watching and relaxing ... there was a couple of processions whilst we were there, it was great to watch them from either the balcony, or the terrace on the top of the building. We both did comment that we wouldn’t have been as happy with a room with no balcony, or one not facing the square - but I suppose it really is each to their own!
The room was light and very clean, well equipped, and we asked for an iron for the room and it was delivered immediately. The mini bar was fairly expensive at €1.75 for a bottle of water, but there was a small convenience store over the other side of the square which we used after the first evening.
We had breakfast on the first morning in the hotel, which had a good selection buffet for €7.50, although we preferred trying different restaurants and cafes the remainder of the time, as a variation. A nearby bakery cafe, for example, offered coffee, fresh orange and a large pastry each for under €8 for us both.... if you wanted a massive breakfast each day, the hotel buffet, however, would be ideal.
The staff we encountered were all very pleasant and helpful. It was no trouble whatsoever to leave luggage with them on the last day, when we had a late flight home.
From Alicante airport we took a taxi, as we arrived and departed later at night, and it was just under €20 each way - although I know there are alternatively buses which run from the airport to the Mercado area.
A really nice, clean hotel, less than 5 minutes walk to the beach, old town, and restaurants, and probably 10 minutes to the castle via the beach. It really is ideal for exploring Alicante, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else right now!

Great location in an old setting with a plaza at your front door with bar and coffee shops short walk to the sea wall nice promenade with music and vendors. In back of the hotel few blocks in is the Tapas area block after block of tapas bars safe and affordable. Free parking across the street at the water front bring your ticket to the front desk and they will stamp it. Moorish fortress within walking distance, good place to drink wine and make new friends, just remember no one goes out until after 9 pm.
