The Evenia Alcala Boutique Hotel is in the old town of Alcala, but away from the noisy main streets of town. The hotel's key feature is its beautiful courtyard with patio tables and chairs, which is a relaxing place to have a drink after a day of sightseeing. Rooms are modern, clean and compact, and include a fridge, hairdryer and safe. Staff are English-speaking, professional and friendly.

This is the pefect place to stay, small, quiet, close to the city center and clean and the service is well done. Breakfast done in the basement in a very suggestive room. The only problem i had was with the regulation of the temperature of the water in the shower, but the rest ALL PERFECT

Beautifully restored old building, just on the edge of Casco Istorico in Alcala: close enough to enjoy it, far enough to avoid the noise. We had a room on the upper floor, windows facing the patio. The room (#17) was quiet and nice, and impeccably clean. A couple of drawbacks: the toilet was a glass cube in one corner of the room, the shower was a glass cube in the opposite corner. Not the best setup for privacy... Also, the minibar could have doubled as an oven and everything inside it was almost hot. We asked for it to be checked but nothing happened.
The minifridge may have been a fluke, but if lack a privacy is a deal-breaker, you may want to avoid this hotel. Too bad, because it has all the makings of a great little place...

A very compact accommodation, all in the same room!
Perfect location in the center of town.
At breakfast in the morning was the bread and olive oil finish. Noticeable difficult by the staff, after about five minutes, three buns and after much sighing came a bottle of olive oil on the table.
Neat and clean, uncomfortable beds

The staff and hotel was terrific for our stay. Great value and accommodations. The hotel is spot clean. The towels are a little rough but otherwise absorbent. The shower and bathroom were in the same room but fine if you are a married couple. The beds are twins so not a real queen size bed. The outlets are round so we asked the check in person for help and they gladly loaned us a plug we could use. Parking at the hotel is reasonable at 10 euros per night and worth it as parking is tight in the neighborhood. Strongly recommend this hotel for its proximity to Madrid via train and cab and the wonderful town is historic, traditional and quiet.
