What People are saying

Not for couples

This is two hotels Zoraida Garden and Zoraida park which are joined together. If you are British or English speaking you will be put in the noisier hotel which is Zoraida park.

This hotel is obviously great for families and people with young children. There is a small water park on site, children's food selection at buffet, play park on site and next to one of the restaurants and children's entertainment. However, if you are a couple looking to come here for a break I wouldn't recommend it. 95% of this hotel was families with young children and there is nothing surrounding this hotel aka no bars or restaurants there's only a few shops selling swim floats and that's it.

After reading other reviews that say the hotel prefer Spanish speaking people and they get some sort of preferential treatment I would agree with this. After speaking perfect English with a guy working behind the bar all night at the end of the evening by boyfriend said "2 waters please" the guy pretended not to know what that meant. I know a little Spanish so asked in Spanish which he was very disgruntled by.

The beach close by looks fantastic but it's not sand on the beach it's small pebbles. We stepped onto it once and left it was very sore under foot.

The walls in the room are paper thin. Every morning we were woken by screaming children or children running up and down the corridor. Also at 0830 on Saturday the housekeeping banged on our door and unlocked it and walked into our room whilst we were sleeping. When we put the "do not disturb" sign on the door you can hear them shouting to each other down the corridor as the clean other rooms and banging things around in the room next to us as the walls are so thin.

Good points the food was good the restaurants on site are very good and plenty of choice at the buffet. This hotel is good for those with a disability or pram as there is ramps everywhere, lifts, disabled toilets by the pool and changing facilities. The rooms are cleaned every day and the hotel is very clean.

I think they should be clearer on their/Thomas cook website this is a family hotel as it stated suitable for couples and it isn't. For us the hotel was very busy and it wasn't even the school holidays. We came away to relax and this hadn't been very relaxing where other couple resorts we've been to are.

There is a "night club" in Zoraida park however at 0200 this was still full of young children. It would be nice for after a certain time this to be over a certain age as they cater so much to children it would be nice to focus on other guests.

Personal preference this hotel isn't suitable for us and we won't be back but like I said will suit others.

Loved it

Had a brilliant time with my family, got back a week ago. The only thing I would criticise is the food, the bed was a bit to hard for me.you don't have much choice. We got internet in our rooms. You need to get up early to put your towels on the sun beds. The slides were great, and the pool. You could eat from 11.00 from different places around the resort, you can choose to eat in them once in an evening. Didn't find the staff ignoring us, had a bit of a laugh with one. You can also get certain ice creams/ lollies and drink all day. I was very relaxed, which is just what I needed, didn't want to come home. Enjoy.

The best family holiday ever!

Had such a great holiday I'm just gutted we didn't book for longer! We will be returning 100%! Food/drinks/staff/entertainment was excellent. We have been on a few all inclusive holidays and never rated the food / drinks but this was really good. In fact better then good it was brilliant!
The water aerobics is also good everyone gets involved which iv never seen that before with guests there is usually about 4-5 people in at other hotels but even all the children was fully involved ! It was great!
Can't wait to book again and thank you for such a great holiday! X

Lovely clean hotel

Stayed here for a week, got back today myself my mum and my 7 year old. There is 2 hotels in one both quite similar and can use the facilities in both . The water park is at the zoraida park side and is very busy with lots of children that seem to love it my daughter enjoyed a visit there but I wouldn't really call it a water park it's literally 5 slide s and a few children's slides but was enjoyed none the less. The hotel is very clean and the staff work very hard to keep it this way. One of the biggest let downs was the uncomfortable beds they really were rock hard with pillows like breeze blocks it's a shame to let that ruin it as it's a beautiful hotel . It's right on a shingle beach that's always very quite but nice views. A stroll along to the right outside the hotel along the beach takes you to lots of bars and shops and a small amusement park/fair for the children. It's worth a trip round on the train to see how many bars and restaurants etc there are if you fancy a night away from the all inclusive. The food was very nice loved all the fresh salads and good variety each day. We are at the Italian one night which was lovely and they were just finishing a refurb on an Asia restaurant that looks like it's going to be fab .. ice cream cornetto s etc are included all day .. was pleased to find the children's club was on as my daughter loves these and she enjoyed going daily and made friends. The swimming pool is lovely and big and my only other fault is your not allowed any lilo s or inflatable s at all which I thinks silly it's huge and really wouldn't infringe on anyone's space if the children were even allowed in half the pool with them a poor dad literally taking his daughter round in a dingy was told no any inflatable s have to go in the small children's pool a knee high pool that's overrun with kids when it would be more suited to children under 5 . But despite this had a lovely holiday and thank you to all the staff that work tirelessly to ensure you do x

Nice busy hotel, great for families

Stayed 2 weeks in July 2015. Loved it, big hotel, good food, the food court can be rather loud. Lovely water park for the kids, hardly had to leave the hotel. Rooms are not very spacious, beds are big but rather uncomfortable (which is normal in Spanish hotels). Still love the hotel and am going back in june 2017
