Cross country gala dinner

This was the best gala dinner I have ever attended.
The service was very slick. They managed to serve the three course dinner in under two hours. Which allowed for the awards to be on at a good time.
The meal was superb. It was hearty and warm.
The bacon wrapped chicken was my favourite dish.
The room decor was great also.
Only disappointment was that I didn’t win a medal.
But well done The Masters for organising an amazing event.
Well done Everglades Hotel. For a fantastic end to a great event.

International Championship weekend
annem282017on 20/11/2017 20:27The Everglades Hotel was the venue for the British & Irish Masters Cross Country International Presentation dinner and the Northern Ireland team hotel. The very professional and very friendly manner in which we were catered for was second to none. The food on both nights was excellent,served hot and very efficiently. This despite 80 on Friday and 500 on Saturday. Congratulations to Mairead, Neil and their team on a excellent job.
Disappointing
Martin Pon 20/11/2017 16:42A grand entrance and setting, and I know that serving 500 guests is a challenge, but the experience was not luxurious given the cost. Staff were pleasant but table service was slow with half a dozen being left without the first course until after others had finished theirs. It was annoying that waiters were taking drinks orders at the table whilst guests were waiting for their meal. The main course was pleasant as was the sweet as service improved. Unfortunately when tables were cleared I only received a cursory ‘sorry’ when coffee was split onto my new shirt (twice). I would need to be encouraged to book another meal.
2 Night Stay.
Gerard Mon 18/11/2017 23:43From first moment of approaching reception desk, staff were amazing, professional in carrying out their duties and resolved any small issues that arise immediately. We had the opportunity to select other Hotels in the Hastings Group and weren't disappointed.
Would recommend for a relaxing couple of days.

Paddy Mon 17/11/2017 22:02I can not fault my experience at the Everglades. The hotel staff were very polite and attentive. The food was amazing. And, as it was a quiet time of year, I got a complimentary room upgrade! One of the best hotel experiences I've had to date!
