Stayed here with friends in a two bedroom apartment. The rooms were clean and comfortable however they felt very basic.
There was nothing that really made the rooms wow.
There was however a nice view of the river from the balcony.
The location was good and walking distance to places like Queen St mall and also not too far from Fortitude Valley.

Have lived in Brisbane half of my life but moved away 15 years ago. Did not come for the sights unfortunately. We stayed two nights and the location was ideal for the event we needed to attend. The room was comfortable and had a nice view of the river even though they told us the studio rooms were not on the riverside when booking. The cost was good for a city room, so happy with that. However, room is accessible via car park which smelt rancid the whole time we were the. The room while clean to look at the attention to detail leaved a lot to be desired. The windows on the inside had dribble marks and smears of I don't know what, the wooden furniture looked clean but on the sides was white splash marks and looked like being there for a while. The wooden table in the lounge was about ready to collapse if you put anything heavy on it and the chairs cracked. When unit locked up all day we could smell mould and had to open the window. Good little kitchen, but location of power point no ideal as electric cords hang over the sink. The staff were friendly and the view from the Sky Deck was great. Like the idea of the BBQ's we could use if we were there for another purpose. Great breakfast place next door.

I read the other reviews and agree with the comments about location. I was able to exit the apartment and go for 2 runs on the north bank promade and the South Bank. Lots of people jogging, walking, and cycling. The taxi ride from the airport was about $43 and took approximately 30 minutes arriving mid morning. I stayed there with 2 friends so we had a 2 bedroom. My first impression of the bedrooms was that the beds seemed small like a double size versus queen size beds. My sleep was interrupted each night by a loud noise like a wind crashing into the room and I could not figure out what it was. My guess is it was coming from the vent in my bedroom; maybe something to do with the air conditioning. Liked the private patio and wonderful view of the river and South Bank. Other positives include: kitchen had all the basics (I.e. kettle, toaster, etc), in suite laundry (dryer made the bathroom very steamy), and spacious enough for 3 adults, and clean. It's a short walk to Queen Street shopping and bus stops to main attractions. Staff are friendly. Go check out the night view from the Sky Lounge room-it was a wonderful discovery on my last night. The room also contained a pool table. There was an outdoor pool but there wasn't enough time to use it. I looked at the gym and it had a few cardio machines. It didn't appeal to me as it was a narrow room with the user facing the wall-no view and a bit claustrophobic. Another guest who stays regularly uses the gym across the street which is 24/7. I hope this was helpful.

Nice location right on the river, but also the highway. Bring your earplugs - plenty of noise. But also relatively spacious apartments. If you can get it for the right price then go right ahead. Close to Suncorp too

We spent three nights in a one-bedroom apartment and overall our stay was pleasurable.
The apartment was clean, basic, and had a nice big balcony with table and chairs. The pool and outdoor area is quite nice and big with sun beds, out door seating area and public barbecues. There is also a 'Sky Lounge' on the top floor with pool table, kitchen, bar area, lounges, TV and balcony with a great view of the city and river. The location was perfect, it was 2 minute walk from a train station, and about 10 minutes from the city centre.
There were a couple of down falls. The apartment looked quite old and dated, the gym area was tiny and the only good equipment was three or so treadmills, and wifi was only free for the first 500mb each day but was extremely slow (this may not be great for foreigners who rely on wifi to communicate with friends and family etc.) Also keep in mind that if you require a parking bay in their carpark you will be charged a hefty $30 per day/night.
